I would complain about Vista--many problems with vista--I cant believe the tech would do that without your consent..why do you think they are offering back XP as an option on new computers?

Remove heat sink,make cpu body.
IF I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY I BELIEVE I UNDERSTAND MOST ENOUGH TO SAY YOU HAVE VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM AND NEED TO STOP EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW UNTIL YOU FIX CPU!! YOU HAVE SERIOUS OVERHEATING PROBLEM AND ARE PROBABLY CLOSE TO KILLING YOUR WHOLE SYSTEM!! A PENTIUM 4,3GHZ PROCESSOR PUTS OUT A LOT OF HEAT AND THAT IS WHY THE HEAT SINK MELTED, BUT YOU CAN'T RUN WITHOUT REPLACING IT WITH SOMETHING ELSE BETTER THAN WHAT YOU HAD THAT DIDN'T WORK! THIS IS WHY THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS SHUTTING DOWN. IT IS SAYING, IT IS WAY TO HOT TO RUN AND WE ARE GOING TO SHUT DOWN BEFORE WE BURN UP!!! YOU MUST GET MORE COOLING INTO YOUR CASE AND ONTO THAT PENTIUM PROCESSOR AND GET MORE HEAT OUT OF THE CASE. YOU MAY NEED TO ADD ADDITIONAL FANS OR VENTS, BUT YOU HAVE TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE BEFORE YOU RUN THIS MACHINE OR YOU WILL FRY IT!! THE MOTHERBOARD CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT EITHER! REPLACE THE HEATSINK WITH AN ALUMINUM ONE, NOT THAT PLASTIC ONE FROM DELL, AND MOUNT A FAN ON TOP IF NEED BE. YOU HAVE TO THINK COOOOL!!! YOU HAVE THE POWER, BUT IT ISN'T GOING TO DO YOU ANY GOOD IF IT GOES UP IN SMOKE! I'VE BUILT TO MANY MACHINES TO SEE ONE FRY FOR OVERHEATING. YOU SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST FOUR FANS IN THAT CASE, NO COUNTING THE ONE ONE THE VIDEO CARD OR THE ONE IN THE POWER SUPPLY.
DO IT RIGHT AND SHE WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT AND PURR LIKE A KITTEN! NEED HELP-REPLY TO: ARCLIGHT1217

Rise in the Temparature & Processor Fan's Speed
Games and graphics place a huge demand on the RAM (memory) and processor. It is for this reason that gamers buy expensive video cards with huge amounts of RAM inbuilt into the card (The cards are almost computers in their own right).
Your processor has to deal with a lot of information when you watch dvds or play games .. it works damn hard ... hence the heat .
Your best option is to fit an additional cooling fan (computer shops have them in stock). Try removing the side of the computer casing to allow more air to circulate. Die-hard gaming enthusiasts add all sorts of extras to their computers .. water tubes to circulate water .... that sort of thing.
Your processor will become hot .. that happens in all computers. It's EXCESS heat you want to avoid. As a general rule of thumb, a processor's ideal temperature is 40 degrees C, though they do go beyond this temperature at times, without adverse effect.

How to remove unknown device from vista?
If it is an unkown device in the control panel add and remove hardware section you can right click on the item and select to remove the hardware item.
If you need the item back use the add remove hardware "Detect new hardware" and it will find it again.
I have used this techique also when i needed to reinstall the current driver used by the hardware and windows would only say that it already has the best driver for the hardware.
hope this helps.
and also good anivirus practice is also good.
Malware bytes is a great program and it scans lightning fast.

How to remove unknown device for good from vista?
Any IDE controllers you have are going to be integrated into your motherboard, so there is no way to really remove them. Download a copy of SIW. Use it to find the make and model number of your motherboard. From there go to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers for it. Next uninstall the unknown IDE device, and install the drivers. Often times it will prompt you to restart after they are installed, if not restart manually. Windows will then detect the IDE driver again, but this time you will have a driver for it.

Hpsudelpacks.exe stopped working
I had the same problem. When I finally reached HP about this they said that it could be my firewall. You can turn off the firewall then download.
I opted for the second solution, which worked just fine: uninstall, then reinstall the HP update program.
Click START, then CONTROL PANEL, then PROGRAMS AND FEATURES. Select HP Update program from the list, then click uninstall.
When this is finished, then reinstall from Recovery Manager. Go to this website: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00834921&dlc=en
It is called “HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - Performing a Software Application or Driver Recover in Windows Vista” if you wish to search it.
Follow the instructions at this site.
You can access Recovery Manager on the menu when you click START.

Graphic card
A graphic card or graphic adapter is always present on all computer.
When the computer does not have an external graphic card, the video adapter is integrated on motherboard.
By studing multimedia you may need to use software like macromedia director, or 3D modelling software that use a lot of video ram.
If your computer has an internal video adapter with at least 64MB of video RAM, then you can try using the current video adapter, if it is less, then better buying an AGP graphic card.
Here is some choice.

Difference b/w Core to duo and daul core
Core 2 Duo is a Brand name by intel to identify his class of Dual core CPU
a Dual core CPU is basically two CPU in one package, which dramatically improves performance over previous architectures.
Pentium Dual Core is another brand name by Intel to identify his new entry level CPU offer.Basically Pentium dual-core are similar to Core 2 Duos except they(pentiums) are slower and cheaper.
they both are dual core CPUs.
I would prefer a core 2 Duo having to choose a laptop because of better performance, but the prize is different for the two solutions.

Its for the same prblm ive mentioned previously.
u need to see the specifications and ram frquency range of ur mothrboard so u can install the proper ddr.
take it apart and locate the model number of ur borad then past it in google and read a review.
for the Video onboard RAM
that works if u ve a buit in graphic card or a PCI graphic card.
plz rate this post.
