Not good! Hopefully you've backed this thing up somewhere recently. Pretty much your only realistic option is to do a hard reset or "restore" on the device. You're going to have to wipe the device and start from scratch. That's part of what makes the password so important, so that if you lose it, someone else can't just pick up your device and break into it using some back-door method.

I suggest you to perform a hard reset as sometimes this may be due to a software glitches chances are rare though but still you can give it try. Else you need to replace the touch panel of your table which I suggest you should not do on your own rather take it to a hardware shop.
