Right click my computer then properties then hardware then device manager then see if the sound drivers are installed properly if not installed properly you will see a question mark if disable you will see red X id disable enable the if the driver is marked with yellow question mark then reinstall the driver if the driver is installed and no marks indicated go to the speaker icon in the task bear and open the volume control and see wether mute is enabled if enabled disble them

Press control, alt, delete and select task manager. Tell me what programs are currently running when the computer lags. It seems like something is using too many system resources that are running.

try repairing your OS.just insert the window cd installer went booting.follow the instructions.until you see repair you operating system or windows repair.

Remove and unistall software and programs that are unused. Then use disk defrag and cleanup to take care of the rest.

You need to install the audio driver for motherboard using the cd that u must have got alongwith it. In case you dont have one, download it from the motherbd manufacturer's website.
