TDK Sound Cube - Black TP6701BLK Questions & Answers
How do I fix TDK NX-4cd having no volume?
If your TDK NX-4CD has no volume and the CD door does not open, here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
- Check the mute function: Make sure the unit is not set to mute. Look for a dedicated mute button on the unit or on the remote control and ensure it is not activated. If there is no dedicated mute button, check the volume controls and settings to ensure they are not turned all the way down or set to minimum levels.
- Reset the system: Perform a system reset by disconnecting the power source from the TDK NX-4CD. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and leave it unplugged for at least 10-15 minutes. This will allow the unit to fully power down and reset. After the waiting period, plug the power cord back in and test if the volume issue is resolved.
- Check the speaker connections: Ensure that the speaker wires are securely connected to the appropriate terminals on the back of the unit. Sometimes loose or disconnected speaker wires can result in no sound. Additionally, check for any visible damage to the speaker wires and repair or replace them if necessary.
- Clean the CD player mechanism: If the CD door does not open when pressing the Open button, it could be due to a mechanical issue. Gently clean the CD player mechanism using compressed air or a soft cloth to remove any dust or debris that may be obstructing the door's movement. Be careful not to force the door open to avoid causing further damage.
- Seek professional repair: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may indicate a more significant problem with the internal components of the TDK NX-4CD. In such cases, it is advisable to contact a professional audio equipment repair service or contact TDK customer support for further assistance. They will have the expertise and specialized tools to diagnose and repair the specific issues with your unit.
It's important to note that attempting any repairs or disassembling the unit yourself may void any existing warranty and could potentially cause further damage. Therefore, if you are not comfortable with electronics repair, it is best to seek professional assistance.

My TDK st100 Head phones have no Sound in the left headphone
MMMmm, bummer. The earphone CABLES look rather small and vulnerable?
IF you move the CABLE NEAR the connecter do you hear any sound? How about up at the earphones themselves? If you wiggle the cable are there any sounds?
There HAS to be a 'open circuit' somewhere? Maybe the volume was set too high and the LEFT earphone happened to blow out?
And perhaps it's time to treat yourself to a NEW headset with a MUCH better and substantial connecting cable?

The sound is only coming through one of the
It sounds like a short in either the wire or the connection to the computer. 90% of the time this is caused by the cable getting pinched somehow, or just getting old. You'll need a new wire, so probably new headphones altogether.
