Missing developer unit
Generally this printer can be separate into 4 major part: Printer body,
Toner container, Developer unit and Drum unit. The developer unit is
the unit where the toner container "mount" on it and it should be
removed to allow cleaning task every time the toner container is
replaced.
U may get this error message if the developer unit is
not install properly after u replace a new toner container. Just lift
the developer unit together with the toner container out of the printer
and then insert back properly into the machine.

Red light blinking

1) Green On, Red Off = Printer Ready.
2) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Fast-Flashing = Printer warm up.
3) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Off = Printer off-line.
4) Green Slow-Flashing, Red Off = Processing Data.
5) Green Off, Red On = Cover Opened, Toner Empty or Developer Unit / Drum unit missing.
6) Green Off, Red Fast-Flashing = Paper Jam or waiting for jam reset.
7) Green Off, Red Slow-Flashing = Paper Empty or Paper tray is not inserted.
8) Green Off, Red Off = Printer power is off.

Black lines on printed documents
Vertical lines? How many pages have you printed? Check the counter and then answer to my post. Maybe you will need to replace the MK. Check the surface of optical cylinder for scratches. However, if the MK is not at the end of his life, and the cylinder surface is not damaged, you will need to clean the charge roller and then to execute an Drum Refresh from Service submenu. This is the most frecvent problem that I meet, related to vertical lines. There could be other bad components, but you will need to check first the drum unit.

It jamming from cassette one ,if you remove the cassette look inside where the cassette came out of and you will see two grey/blanch roller give them a good clean with a damp cloth and your problem should be fixed
