Sometimes when this happens to me, I disconnect or unpair the two, then reconnecting does the trick.

try a master reset, if that does not cure it check for swollen caps in the switch mode power supply, replace all if a few are swollen.

check for swollen caps in power supply, next remove the hdd and fdisk it in a computer, put it back in and format/init the HDD

switch mode caps or blown audio ic/speaker. disconnect speakers and test one by one
