The answer is easy. Your computer USB is too weak to supply it juice needed. The best answer is to get yourself a wall power supply to usb that will give it more juice. You will know it is working when the battery that pops up on the screen actually MOVES from bottom to top more quickly than Sonic the Hedgehog moves versus the steady 'stay in place' or a snail's pace upward as I like to call it when plugged into the computer. You'll get your player charged in 2 hours versus 15 hours plugged into the computer and you have the bonus of the battery holding the charge better than the PC way where I've seen the battery be at the top and then you watch 1 video and it drops 4-5 bars. Use the faster, better charging method and it'll stay up there the whole time.
