Charging my new polaroid mp3

Make sure your on/off switch is in the "on" position while charging. I was having the same issue, but that seemed to fix it.

Hi ettaesque...
Remove the songs the easy way...follow the instruction below:

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

I have a pmp500-4 digital

there are several way to hook up your mp3 player to your car stereo using only a headphone jack. If you have a tape deck you can use a tape to headphone converter, or If it doesn't have a tape deck don't worry you can purchase mp3 player Wireless FM Radio Transmitter, available at your local electronics dealer or online for much better prices . Pmp280c-16 need help loading songs

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Apparently you are not the only one. this has been an issue with Vista. redownload SP1 for Vista

If the battery is not charging it will need to be replaced, from your description that appears to be the main problem and should be brought back to the store to have the matter remedied.

I changed a setting on

Sounds like you adjusted the contrast to 0. I did the same thing I used a flashlight to look at the screen while holding it at a angle. I was able to see the screen and was able to adjust the contrast back to where it should be. Gl and let us know if this worked.

I recently purchased a Polaroid

The manual states no drivers are needed. I would hook up the player, go to hardware manager and see if the player show up here with a Yellow mark out next to it. If it is there, right click it and delete the unknown device. Go back to the top of the device tree and right click again. this time chose search for changes. Try this, hope it helps. My polaroid is not on

Tek a look on the side or in the back ..and locate the reset button ..It has to be a hole with a button inside accessible with a stylus or a sharp object ..make sure the device is powered and on ..and press that button until it restarts ..This will reset it to factory settings , and if it is still functional ..the touch screen will work ..
If it is functional after but the touch screen do not work ...get into the menu and activate the touch screen (look into settings )
