windows often has MSN runnin in some form in the background, this is usually not a problem, unless you are trying to use a different Chat app as MSN will grab your webcam :S

1. You can open only one video application at a time, therefore, you need to quit ALL the application first, then open the one application you want to use. such as YIM or Skype.

2. Please open the iceCam Monitor, go to Monitor tab, check the "Record Video" and select "Record Until MouseClick".
A new Save window will pop up, set up the filename and location and click SAVE button.
Once you click the mouse button, it will save the recorded video as QuickTime Movie clip format file on the selected location.
If you want a picture, you could run the video and pause it and make a screen shot to grab the picture from the video.

Dont know much about the MAC but most time this happens some other program takes over video and picture viewing check to see if this is the case. what ever proram you use for videos etc ensuure its the default one

1. Please make sure you install the software first before you plug the iceCam.
2. You may try it on another built-in USB port
3. If still not working, the iceCam may defective.

Find and open the program that came with the installation cd, it should have the option.

update the drivers.

you need to set the audio settings for the microphone. you need to go into sound options and configure the volume settings for the micrphone as I am not entirely conversant with mac architecture I cannot tell you exactly how to achieve this

Click on the Apple menu in the top left corner of the screen.
Select "System Preferences" from the dropdown menu.

In the "Scroll & Zoom" tab, look for the "Scroll Lock" option and uncheck it.
