Sansui G-5700 protection light wont go on
Try checking the speakers and connections. Those symptoms occur if there is a short. Disconnect all spkrs, turn it on and if it stays on connect one speaker at a time until it shuts off.
There is no sound coming out
I had a very similar problem with my Sansui G5700. Powers on, but no sound. My solution may not fix your problem, but this is what I did to solve mine. Removed the wooden cover. On the main power circuit board ( red circle on attached image) there is a safety relay that activates the speakers. Carefully remove the plastic cover ( should come off easily) spray the contacts with contact cleaner. ( do not use CRC. use a dedicated contact cleaner) Double check all your fuses. Refit the plastic relay cover. Refit the main wood cover. Power on, and hopefully it works :)...Mine has not missed a beat since.( If this didn't work, check if the relay actually switches on and off. The relay may have an open circuit and needs to be repaired/ replaced)
I have Sansui Home theater (HTIB 1003), when. I press on power button, it just turns blue light but it doesn't show Hello words and it does not Load,,,, what can be the problem?
If the TV has no picture or sound, but the led turns from red to blue or green that means the mainboard has sent the power supply board the start up signal. The first thing that needs to be done is the voltages need to be checked to the power board. Follow the steps.
1. Hold the (menu) and (vol-) buttons on the side of the TV.
2. While holding the (menu) and (vol-) button on the side of the TV you also need to press the (power) button on the side of the TV (NOT REMOTE).
3. When the blue light comes on and stays on wait 10 seconds then let go of the (menu) and (vol-) button.
4. Wait 30 more seconds. After waiting another 30 seconds you should see some type of picture appear on your screen. — If those steps do not work then you need to unplug your TV for 10 minutes then hold the (power) button on the side of your TV for 60 seconds - plug in and turn your TV on.
If those steps do not fix your problem I would check to see if your device is still covered under a warranty. If not I recommend www.tvrepairpros.com they will find a technician in your area to further assist you.
Sansui Home Theater HT1B-3000 has no sound. How do I fix it please?
Re-check all of your wires between the TV and the system are fitted correctly at both ends. I usually concentrate on the TV first where I remove ONE connector and wipe it with a DRY lint free cloth and refit it, making sure it is pushed fully in. Then do the same to the next connector, (remove, clean and refit), and so on until they are all done.
Then I move to the back of the TV and use the same method. Also do this to any DVD players and anything else you've got plugged into the theatre system.
Once you have done this recheck all the settings on the Theartre system AND the TV as sometimes settings can get changed accidentally when changing other settings.
