hi it sound to me that when you biamp and driving speaker and woofer , you are over loading the fuses , suggestions uprate the fuses till they stop blowing

Probably the EEPROM, the heart and brain of the appliance. I had the same issue with my AIWA, could not figure out the cause, took it in, tech told me EEPROM is blown. Not economical to repair.

Check the rest of the power supply, for example the transformer if there is no power at all. If you are getting some indication of power, check the voltage regulator circuit.

I noticed the the names for the five audio/video inputs can be customized by the user, Maybe there is a firmware issue? With the unit being surround sound Have you tried running in 2 chanels only?

I'm guessing you don't know for sure that it even needs fuses. They don't go out like they used to, as everything is controlled by a microprocessor(computer within your unit). I would suggest, that you, with the power plug pulled out, use an ohm meter to be sure that each fuse is shorted. Turn off the other channel and listen only to the bad channel playing some music. Turn it up! If you hear any music the pre-amp is working and the power amp is faulty. If you don't, then the pre-amp is faulty. Because it's a stereo amp you have the good channel to compare with the bad. So you can do voltage tests, or "buzz" tests. Buzz Tests or where you apply a insulated tool to the circuits, a buzz will be heard. If it buzzers in the good channel it should in the bad. Ignore the power supply and don't short any parts out!

You have blowin a IC in it, Power amps are not suppose to be use for the purpose you were useing it for.You are dam lucky they didn,t go up in smoke.

IF THE FUSE YOU ARE PLACING IS THE SAME TYPE AS THE ORIGINAL YOUR AMP HAS A PROBLEM WHAT YOU MUST DO IS TO SLIGHTY INCREASE FUSE BY 100 MAMPS PER TIME IF IT IS IN THE TRANSFORMER CIRCUIT YOU CAN INCRESE IT BY 2 AMP MAX IF IT IS IN THE MOSFETS CIRCUIT YOU CAN INCRESE IT BY A MAXIMUM OF 500MAMP LET ME KNOW THE RESULTS

Hello EricJust look at its connections. If the input connections have any loose connections at both ends, of the graound connection to both the devices are not proper, this kind of fault [intermittent sound and static noise] can occur. Reconnect all the connections and check the connection wires. OK.
