Mytmv151fs keeps on blowing 20 amp fuse

That is a big fuse. I think the filament in your magnetron has failed, and has fallen on the metal casing, causing a dead short.

Microwave does not complete operation. defaults to

please make this test and fix it. God bless you
  1. ain control boardIf your microwave runs for a few seconds and stops, the first thing to check is the main control board to ensure that a shortage has not occurred. If the part is defective then it will need to be replaced to prevent continual shut offs. If this is not the issue, the next step would be to check for a faulty touchpad.
  2. Touchpad/Control panelIf the control board is not the issue and your microwave continues to shut off after running for only a few seconds, the next thing to check is your touchpad, which is also known as a control panel. Although uncommon for this issue, symptoms are usually that the display and some buttons are working properly; however, when selected some buttons are not functioning. If this is the case the touchpad will need to be replaced.

Tappan 5030 microwave oven fuse is ok but no lights on keypad come on

see the causes and fix it. God bless youTouchpad dead If you have a stuck key or non-responsive key, most of the time you will have to replace the keypad for this microwave oven repair. If your keypad is connected to your control board by a flat ribbon wire, try disconnecting it and clean the silver contacts with an ordinary pencil eraser. After cleaning, plug it back in and try it. If it doesn't fix it, replace the keypad unit. Some units actually have keypad tests to confirm your diagnosis of a bad key.If your keypad and control is the same unit, replace that unit. Another note, unlike stove/oven keypads and controls, most microwaves do not have error codes or tests to distinguish whether it is truely the keypad or control. Most of the time, it is the keypad that needs replacing, but a small percentage of the time it can be the control. Check the tech sheet if they can point you to the right part.10_11_2012_10_39_58_am.gif

Shows SE on display . nothing else will work on

"SE" means that your membrane keypad has shorted.

If you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.

You can order parts by entering your full model number here. The membrane is reference number 25 on the control panel parts list.

If you need further assistance, or would like to replace this for you, please let us know.

Microwave just stopped working one minute working

sounds like fuse may have blown..if light doesnt come on inside then that is possibly what is wrong..the fuse is inside the case and u have to take the outside off to get at it...make sure the power cord isnt plugged into the wall and do not touch anything else inside the unit ..there is a big capacitor inside that can give a very very bad shock....or the logic board is not good..if that is the case then it is not worth repairing

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

NOTE: Enter your model number like this: 56-5383-10-01

The typical turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

Here is a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven.
