My screen is dark can you help me fix it

There is a problem with the internal wiring and if you have never repaired a laptop I don't suggest you start. Take it to a computer service center and they can fix it for you. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/scott_843b43f7ebebd3f5

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password and privileges. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. How do I update bios for mpc transport x1000

FIRST, WHY DO YOU WANT TO? Altering the BIOS is like taking a stroll in a minefield, one wrong step and........ That said, Is your computer running OK? Is there some issue you are trying to resolve? If you are asking for a "how to" , I assume you have never done it before. That's not a "pond you want to jump in", without checking how "deep the water is". I would advise you to rethink, and rethink the rethink. Have you looked on the laptop Makers website for a BIOS flash? Only use the laptop manufacturers website for BIOS updates/flash.

Transport X1000 labtop will power on but screen is blank

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad. Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display. If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.
