Wont start up msi vr603

Hello, just power off your PC and try to reset the motherboard configuration. Follow this steps:1. Pull out the memory card, bios battery and the connector that connect your hard drive its either IDE or SATA connector. Then pull up the jumper of the bios then put it to the reset jumper settings.2. Turn on your motherboard then let it for about 5 minutes.3. After 5 minutes, turn off and put back all the devices you just pull outed and try to put the jumper settings to normal.4. Then Turn on again and see if the motherboard will turn on.5. Do not forget to clean the memory card with an eraser.

Ms 1745 mother board won't power up

This isn't much of a solution, but I can tell you one thing. If the mother board smells like ozone, it's fried. Sometimes you can see where by comparing the clarity of the circuit routes. Sorry if this isn't much help, but if the board is no good then searching for a fix is pointless. GOOD LUCK. Hope it's something less severe.

When i turn on my computer it starts to boot up then goes to microsoft windows xp.the next screen is a blu one thats says avg install path :c:\program files\avg\avg2012

See if you can uninstall AVG by booting up into Safe Mode.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you internet connectivity) and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal. Uninstall AVG then reboot and see if you are ok. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus program.

If you still get the blue screen, Try running the Check Disk Utility.

To run the check disk utility you will need a repair disc or a operating system disc. Put the disc in the cd drive and boot from it. You want to get to the Dos Command Prompt (Black screen with white letters) and type the following command: chkdsk /r Check disk will run well over an hour or two and you will notice the percentages going from high to low, this is normal. Let it run to completion. Then reboot machine. If check disk fails to solve your problem you might have to reinstall windows. Try doing a Repair Install that way you don't loose your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs. In windows xp you get to the dos command prompt by selecting R for repair when the options appear. In Vista and Windows 7 you want to get to the recovery console and look down at the bottom of the window for the Dos Command.

Will K8MM-V MS-7142 Motherboard supports 500GB Sata 3(6gbps) Hard disk, by setting to 1.5gbps speed ?

The designers of SATA aimed for backward and forward compatibility with future revisions of the SATA standard.[citation needed] To prevent interoperability problems that could occur when next generation SATA drives are installed on motherboards with legacy standard SATA 1.5 Gbit/s motherboard host controllers, many manufacturers have made it easy to switch those newer drives to the previous standard's mode. For example, Seagate/Maxtor has added a user-accessible jumper-switch, known as the Force 150, to enable the drive to be switched between 1.5 Gbit/s and 3 Gbit/s operation. Western Digital uses a jumper setting called OPT1 Enabled to force 1.5 Gbit/s data transfer speed (OPT1 is enabled by putting the jumper on pins 5 & 6). Samsung drives can be switched to 1.5 Gbit/s mode using software that may be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. Upgrading a Samsung drive in this manner requires the temporary use of a SATA-2 (SATA 3.0 Gbit/s) controller while programming the drive.

Forgot password for bios setting

For this issue if you need to fix it with your self you need to follow the instruction from me. First you need to open your unit. Locate where the CMOS battery located.

The BIOS password is stored in CMOS memory that is maintained while the PC is powered off by a small battery, which is attached to the motherboard. If you remove this battery, all CMOS information (including the BIOS password) will be lost. You will need to re-enter the correct CMOS setup information to use the machine. The machines owner or user will most likely be alarmed when it is discovered that the BIOS password has been deleted.

On some motherboards, the battery is soldered to the motherboard, making it difficult to remove. If this is the case, you have another alternative. Somewhere on the motherboard you should find a jumper that will clear the BIOS password. If you have the motherboard documentation, you will know where that jumper is.

If not, the jumper may be labeled on the motherboard. If you are not fortunate enough for either of these to be the case, you may be able to guess which jumper is the correct jumper. This jumper is usually standing alone near the battery. If you cannot locate this jumper, you might short both of the points where the battery connects to the motherboard.
