D3d drivers 95

D3d is an abbreviated way of saying Direct3d. The 95 could possibly mean that it wants version 9.5, but I'm not really sure what else to make of it. Direct3d is something like a framework/library for rendering 3D objects on Windows operating systems. It's part of DirectX, but you can download direct3d alone from Microsoft; though I would advise against downloading it from any place but Microsoft or MSDN for several reasons. You can try grabbing the latest version (I think it's 11) first, and if that doesn't work, go ahead and look for 9.5.Lastly, there's a possibility that this message means that your drivers are not compatible with Direct3d. There are a number of reasons this could happen. First off, your laptop may not be able to run Direct3d. However, I find this unlikely; it's pretty rare to see a Windows 7 laptop with absolutely no graphics capabilities whatsoever. If you ever re-installed Windows, that could be an issue, as the driver software is erased when you do this. It might be possible to ascertain additional information with a more verbose description of the problem you are encountering. ;-)

Hi, When I try to open Lenovo youcam, it is giving the error message : No webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam in to your computer now... What should I do now to resolve this??

Click start control panel view devices and printers you should see your webcam from there if you are have trouble with your webcam Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark? right click to reinstall drivers or update driver xp Click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll to image devices expand right click to update driver in W7 http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for IE: webcam name webcam driver you might have to try a few times to get it right software if you dont have the driver you will need to download one here rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html Windows XP/Vista/7/8 It might take some time being a freeware driver solution note: it will find all of your outdated drivers this is a free driver solutions This will automatically search for and find the correct driver you will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated Some webcams and programs require additional software, although that should be installed with the webcam if things are right. But is does not harm to check if your Java, Flash and Quicktime software are installed and up to date. But certainly check your DirectX software, since all video applications, including webcams, use DirectX for video processing. Try downloading the latest DirectX version and install it (Windows XP: DirectX 9.0c - Windows Vista: DirectX 10). http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Which-version-of-DirectX-is-on-your-computer If you still have no webcam installed Run the "Add a device"application, accessed by clicking on the "Start" button, opening the "Control Panel," and then double-clicking on "Add a device." The "Add a device" window will open and Windows will search for devices connected to your system but not installed. Click on the webcam name that shows in the search box and then click "Next." Choose whether you want Windows to search for the webcam device driver using Windows Update over the Internet, or if you'd prefer to have the device manager search for the driver using a disc supplied by your laptop manufacturer. Most drivers can be found on the system recovery disc included with your laptop, if you choose to add the driver from the provided disc. Place a check in the box next to your choice and then click "Next>" to continue. Wait while Windows searches from the driver using Windows Update, if this was your choice. An active Internet connection is required for Windows to successfully do this. Allow the computer to install the driver and then reboot the system for the webcam to become recognized by the system. Otherwise, you can use the system recovery disc or a driver downloaded directly from your laptop manufacturer to install the driver without using the Windows Update search feature. Open the CD/DVD-ROM drive and insert the system recovery disc, or place the driver downloaded from the manufacturer in an easily accessed file directory on your PC, such as on the desktop, or in your "My Documents" folder. Choose the option "Install the software automatically (Recommended)" in the "Add a device" application, and press "Next>" to begin searching for your webcam driver. The hardware wizard will search the system recovery disc and install the driver automatically. Press "Finish" to close the wizard and then reboot the computer to allow recognition of the webcam. Choose the option "Install the software manually" in order to browse to the driver location where you saved the driver and install it from there. Use the opened file manager and locate the driver. Click the "Next>" button to install the driver, then reboot the computer to add webcam functionality.

Bluetooth is not responding

which bluetooth device ? are you referring to ?keyboard , mouse , ahh a webcam ? Bluetooth is a wireless technology that connects devices over a limited-range network (WPAN, or wireless personal area network). Bluetooth transfers data three to eight times faster than a parallel or serial port. Some Lenovo PCs includes an internal Bluetooth card to allow users to connect Bluetooth devices to the computer. Inactive Bluetooth support or computer settings can prevent the Lenovo PC from detecting a Bluetooth device. Hold down "Fn" and "F5" after booting the computer or returning from standby to enable Bluetooth features. Click "Start." Click "Control Panel." Double-click "Bluetooth Configuration." Select the "Accessibility" tab. Check "Let other Bluetooth devices discover this computer." Select "All devices" from the drop-down menu. Click "OK." Double-click "Bluetooth Devices." Select the "Options" tab. Check "Turn discovery on," "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer" and "Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect." Click "OK." Exit from "Control Panel." Align the device with the Lenovo PC. Check the documentation included with the device to confirm it is the correct distance from the computer. Right-click "Start." Click "Explore" or "Open." Navigate to "My Bluetooth Places." Click "Bluetooth Tasks." Click "View Devices in Range" to locate the device. Select the device from the list. Click "Discover services" to use the device's applications on your Lenovo PC. Right-click the device and select "Connect" or "Pair" to configure the device. Hope it helps.

Lenovo Y550P stopped charging battery

Check the Power Adapter and Outlet: Ensure that the AC power adapter is securely connected to both your laptop and a functional power outlet. If your laptop has an AC power indicator light, make sure it's illuminated. If not, try a different wall outlet (avoid using a power bar) . Battery Charge Stops at 60%: If your battery charge stops at 55%-60% and shows a "plugged in, not charging" message, it might be due to a power management setting. Some Lenovo laptops have a feature that limits battery charging to extend battery life. To disable this: For models with Lenovo Energy Management, Lenovo Power Manager, OneKey Optimizer, Lenovo Settings, or Lenovo Vantage: Check if "Conservation Mode" is turned on. If so, turn it off. If the issue persists, try updating your laptop's BIOS: Go to the Lenovo support website, download the latest BIOS for your model, and install it. Reboot your PC and check if the problem is resolved. Hard Reset: Sometimes a hard reset can help resolve charging issues: Shut down your computer. Remove the battery (if detachable). Hold down the power button for 30 seconds (with the battery removed). Reattach the battery, plug in the AC adapter, and turn on the computer. The battery should start charging . If these steps don't solve the problem, there might be other causes.

How to connect an onn wireless mouse to a lenovo chromebook? i tried doing this 3 times and still wont connect.

Firstly, try turning over your Bluetooth mouse and find the power switch. Make sure it's turned to ON. You should see the optical light turn on (usually red). Place the mouse back flat on your mouse pad. On your Chromebook, select the lower right corner of the taskbar. In the window that pops up, select the Bluetooth icon. If the Bluetooth status is currently off, enable the toggle switch to enable Bluetooth. Once enabled, you'll see a scanning status as your Chromebook looks for active, nearby Bluetooth devices. When your wireless mouse appears, you can select it to pair and connect to it. Once your Chromebook has made its connection with your Bluetooth wireless mouse, you'll notice the mouse pointer moving when you move your mouse

Lenovo ThinkVision monitor T27h-2L not working with my Thinkpad P50 laptop. Monitor not detected. Just goes into Standby mode.

There could be several reasons why the Lenovo ThinkVision monitor T27h-2L is not working with the Thinkpad P50 laptop. Here are some possible solutions: 1. Check the connections: Make sure that the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the laptop and the monitor. Try using a different USB-C cable to see if that resolves the issue. Also, check if the USB-C port on your laptop is functioning properly. 2. Update drivers: Ensure that you have installed the latest drivers for both your laptop and monitor. You can download the latest drivers from Lenovo's website. 3. Change display settings: Sometimes, changing the display settings can help resolve issues with external monitors. Go to "Display Settings" on your laptop and select "Extend desktop" or "Duplicate desktop" to see if that helps. 4. Reset monitor settings: If none of the above solutions work, try resetting your monitor to its default settings. To do this, press the "Menu" button on your monitor and navigate to "Factory Reset." If none of these solutions work, it's possible that there may be a hardware issue with either your laptop or monitor. In this case, you may need to contact Lenovo support for further assistance.

How do I factory reset my Lenovo think pad it doesn't have novo key

If your Lenovo ThinkPad doesn't have a Novo key, you can still perform a factory reset using the Windows installation media. However, please note that this process will erase all data on your computer, so make sure you have backed up any important files before proceeding. Here are the steps: Create a Windows installation media (USB or DVD) using another computer. You can download the Windows installation files from the Microsoft website and use the Windows Media Creation Tool to create the installation media. Insert the Windows installation media into your Lenovo ThinkPad and restart the computer. Press the F12 key repeatedly to enter the boot menu. Select the Windows installation media and press Enter. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows. When you reach the "Where do you want to install Windows?" screen, select the partition that contains the current Windows installation and click "Delete." This will erase all data on the partition. Continue with the Windows installation process until it completes. When prompted, set up a new user account and password. Once Windows has finished installing, make sure to install all necessary drivers and software for your Lenovo ThinkPad. Note: If you don't have a valid Windows license key, you will need to purchase one before performing the factory reset.

User Profile Service service failed after factory reset and unable to access troubleshoot services: Windows 10

It seems that your computer is stuck in a boot loop and you are unable to access the troubleshoot services. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Disconnect all external devices from your computer, except for the keyboard and mouse, and restart the computer.
  2. If that does not work, try to access the Advanced Startup Options by holding down the shift key while clicking on the Restart option in the Start menu.
  3. If you are unable to access the Advanced Startup Options, you can try to create a Windows 10 installation media on a USB drive using another computer and then boot your computer from the USB drive.
  4. Once you are able to access the Advanced Startup Options, you can try using the Startup Repair tool to fix any issues with the boot process.
  5. If that does not work, you can try using the System Restore tool to restore your computer to an earlier point in time when it was working properly.
  6. If none of these steps work, you may need to consider reinstalling Windows on your computer.
It is also possible that there is a hardware issue causing the problem, in which case you may need to take your computer to a professional for repair.
