Are you using the NEC Mobilepro 900c drivers? I'm sure the drivers are different. YOu can find the XP drivers here: http://hpcmonex.net/nec900/files/soft/nec/activesyncusb.zip In addition, you should make sure that you have Activesync 3.8 or older. You can find it here: http://www.hpcfactor.com/ftp-root/software/microsoft/activesync/activesync-38/MSASYNC.EXE

Maybe your Contrast is screwed up. Try soft resetting, then hold "Alt" and the ">" or "<" key at the same time. You can also see if you can turn up the brightness, using the two keys next to the delete key.

What kind of Drivers? USB sync Drivers or Orinco Wi-fi Drivers? Try here for USB to Computer Drivers if you have Windows XP: http://hpcmonex.net/nec900/files/soft/nec/activesyncusb.zip. The full CD contents that come with the Mobilepro can also be downloaded from the same page. For Wi-fi Drivers, I THINK the Agere Wi-fi Drivers will work, although I may be mistaken. And any MiniUSB cable will work with the Mobilepro

what you mean?if you can buy a mouse for your laptop?
sure yo can buy a usb mouse,that works.
you only have to install the driver,which is mostly in the mouse's package on cd-rom delivered.

Are yous sure it is running CE.NET 4.2? I dont think that the HPC 2000 version can effectively use the USB host. If it is HPC 2000 after all, upgrade the ROM. Try http://hpcmonex.net/nec900/roms2.html to upgrade your ROM.

Olive Tree has a Bible program that runs fine on the 900c.

Will need to know the brand of your wireless card as it probably needs the driver installed. Hopefully can point you to driver download once know type, version, etc. of wireless card.

I found the answer using information in one of the related issues. I installed a custom ROM and all works great now....

I use the AVAYA wireless card. It needs to be wireless B. Dowload the driver for it when you sync. Then it should work.
