I need puk code for my nokia

You will need to call your service provider (not the phone maker)and tell them you need the code and red the # off the sim card when ask to do so.

I cannot get my nec mobile pro 900 to sync with my laptop

Which one did you do first: Did you install ActiveSync 4.5 first, or did you try installing the driver first?

The best way to do this is as follows:

  1. Download and install ActiveSync (4.5 is what i use both at home and work and it works great with the NEC 900 and 900C's.
  2. Restart your Windows XP Machine (I assume you don't have Vista)
  3. Next, follow the instructions for the installing the NEC 900 usb drivers (these drivers should be installed AFTER installing ActiveSync... (it seems to work that way without problems for me).
  4. Next, restart your xp machine again.
  5. Now, connect your NEC MobilePro 900 to your Windows XP machine, and it should perform smoothly.
If this does not work for you, you can contact the folks at usedhandhelds.com, they sell and repair, as well as provide support for these machines.

Hope this helps

What version of ActiveSync do you have on your computer?

I assume that you have had this device for a while and are not new to it. I am currently using version 4.2 of ActiveSync, which you can download from Microsoft, and rarely have any problems with it.

I would try doing a soft-reset on this machine, restarting your desktop computer. I would recommend uninstalling ActiveSync if you have an older version and installing 4.2, or even 4.5, they both seem to work well for me, and I rarely have problems. If this doesn't work, you can always do a hard reset on your 900, which is removing both batteries, waiting no less than 15 minutes with both batteries off, and then re-inserting the batteries and starting over. (Do this only if you have nothing you would regret losing, or if you have backed-up your data.)

I mentioned the hard-reset because it can often save you a lot of hassle of looking all over for the answer and then finding out that the answer you got gets you nowhere.

If you are able to, I would do a hard reset plus uninstall older version of ActiveSync and install either version 4.2 or 4.5 on your Windows XP or earlier machine, and then see if that works.

If that does not work, go to http://www.hpcfactor.com/forum, go to the section for Handheld PC's, and make a post with your problem and someone will answer. They are really good with these machines and can usually point you in the right direction.

Hope this helps

Screen looses touch accuracy

This can have more than one cause. It could be the touch screen going bad, or as little as dust in between the outer outer and inner layers of the screen glass. This can be fixed by carefully removing the screen, removing the outher layer (touch screen) and with a very sensitive material and/or a can of dust remover, and removing the hair/dust particles that get in between. This takes time and you want to be careful not to break anything.

I work for a company called UsedHandhelds.com that sells and repairs these devices. We might have a decent screen.

Go to www.hpcfctor.com or www.hpcnec.com and post on their forum, they do have a section on how to do this, I believe.

hope you can get it fixed.

Do you still wish to work this problem? The Premium Question you posted below?

http://www.fixya.com/support/t1168121-wireless_internet

It looked like you abandoned the process even though you had sort of asked for me as if my contact with you was lost.

The way our system works, when you refuse a solution, you can't go back and I can't communicate with you further.

I was looking over the recent problems I had worked when I saw you had posted a few logical questions, such as why were you going to be billed, etc.

I'll be glad to work with you some more, just ask by replying using the Text Area Comment box below.

Ctrl+ALT+Del

The Ctrl-alt-del short cut to the Task Manager is not on the MobilePro 900. To bring up Task Manager on the MobilePro 900, hold the "Alt" key and then tap the task bar with the stylus simultaneously. A menu with "Task Manager" and "Properties" will be displayed, select Task Manager.

Basicly the wireless router needs to be connected into the internet, then you will be able to connect to it. You need to install the card and make sure it works in your device, then connect into the router and it should work fine.

Calibration of my MobilePro off

We've put together some useful tips on calibrating your MobilePro * When calibrating your touch screen be sure to use the same amount of pressure that you apply during normal use. In general, the lighter the better. This allows the screen to recognize taps consistently. * When calibrating your touch screen hold the stylus over the calibration point until it moves to the next point. Holding it for this period will lead to greater accuracy than just tapping the spot quickly. * When calibrating your touch screen support the screen from the back with your other hand. Try not to grasp the screen from the side with your thumb on the front. * When calibrating your touch screen do not let anything other that the stylus accidentally touch the screen. For example, don't rest part of your hand on the screen to help steady the stylus. * Once you've completed the stylus calibration, be sure to perform the double tap calibration as well. This will ensure greater accuracy.

Sync probl

Hi,
Windows Vista is a nuisance, in my own experience.
it has too many issues with drivers et,c.
i,d suggest seeking the setup cd, that would have been packaged with your Hand-held, Or PDA.
This would have had various Applications on it. And Also Active-Sync 3.5. However Vista. Will probably run or use Active-Sync 4.0. which is available from M$ Site. if you download from a computer running Windows 2000 Or XP. then put onto a memory card, or burn to a CD. that you can then install onto your PC.

Long-term, i,d suggest Considering XP. as a more stable and reliable Operating System.

Hope this Helps.
