Hi

I believe you can shoot both pellets and BB's through your airgun, if you google the model number there is a manual you can download
I hope this helps Nick

First, I'm not a gunsmith.
* Take the barrel to a gunshop or gunsmith for proper identification and have it checked if it is safe to use in current condition.
*** Following is for information only.***
* I find it odd that there is no guage marks on barrel.
* This Forum asks similar questions about this; https://www.gunvaluesboard.com/iver-johnson-shotgun-serial-number-433039.html
* If you scroll down on the comments. There is a picture of the shotgun barrel markings that shows the type and guage.
* Fire arms safety; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZYnPYyCdmE
* Be safe and have a gun expert check your shotgun.

I would contact the manufacturer and get it repaired at the factory.

In your choice of Which is better for wildlife safari, you will have to consider what you are actually looking out for first. Do you want some thing light and portable at the expense of some extra comfort and convenience? Or you would rather be as relaxed as possible and get all the glimpse in style but bear the burden that comes with this. Monocular are Sometimes perceived as inferior to binoculars for wildlife viewing because of the flatter image derived from a single objective lens. But monocular have the advantage of being easier to carry and lighter in weight than binoculars. A monocular can fit in your pocket or be carried on a strap around your neck or looped on your belt. Although Observing with both eyes open is certainly more comfortable and relaxing than just with one.

The answer depends on the purpose of your rangefinder and your own requirements. For bow hunting, 100 yards is more than enough. On the other hand, for rifle-hunting you, the range will vary widely depending on where, what and how you hunt and on your proficiency and style. Typically you are looking at a wide range of 200 yards to 800 yards. For golfing again, it depends on the circumstances. You can work with a rangefinder with a range of anywhere between 200 yards to 600 yards. The yardage described here is relative to dark trees. Do not forget to find out what the advertised yardage is relative to - specifications can vary from highly reflective surfaces to deer sized targets.

Bushnell Scout DX Rangefinderis my favorite one. It's a fantastic range finder.
It's offers some amazing feature and specification like...
  • 6x magnification
  • Range between 5-1000 yards
  • 3-volt CR2 Battery
  • Rangefinder Accuracy 5 yds
The Bushnell Scout DX Rangefinder will help you to pick from 3 different user modes by pressing the Mode button at the left side of the unit. First is the usual mode which can be used for most purposes up to 1000 meters and works well towards the pretty reflective surface.
When turned on, the Scout 1000 Laser Rangefinder liquid crystal display (LCD) will directly display icons like the bow and rifle mode. The bow mode will provide you with true horizontal distances from 5-99yd away, depending on the angle. The rifle mode, however, will permit you to get the angle and drop/holdover of your shot to the target from 100-800yd.

Actually, the green ones are considered better and have a much higher price tag as well. Red laser sights can be hard to see in daylight. Green ones appear brighter in those conditions.
The red ones have been around for a long time because the engineers figured out how to mass produce them before they figured out the green lasers.
