Try resetting the phone by pressing in the tiny hole on the bottom of your phone with an opened paper clip.

Hi if your phone is unusable and you can't do anything with it, then the only solution there is, is to do a hard reset: A hard reset is the last resort for troubleshooting. This reset will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications. Slide down and hold the Power button (located on the left edge, near the base of the device). While continuing to hold the Power button, insert the stylus into the pin-hole (on the bottom edge of the device near the left side) to press and hold the Reset button. After approximately 5 seconds, release the Power button and stylus from the Reset button. When the reset is complete, the Windows Mobile splash screen will appear with the prompt Tap the screen to set up your Pocket PC. Note: The procedure to hard reset the i730 has changed in the Windows Mobile 5 version (only). The new procedure is: 1. Press and hold down the top left menu button while pressing the slider down. 2. While performing the above, press the reset button located on the bottom left of the phone. You will see a message "Formatting Root" let the process run without disturbing the phone. It is a little tricky performing all three at once but it works.

Yes, once you turn the wifi on it should disable the phone anyways, which sends all internet communication onto your home wifi (Internet you pay for via dsl or cable)not the phone providers.

so you lost the stylus i would suggest finding a replacement one because that is kind of important however there are many blue tooth devices that require a stylus and you can get pen stylus combo sets.  To do a master reset on the i730 you are going to hold down the power button slider place the stylus in the rest hole on the bottom of the phone then hold for five to ten seconds and release the power slider and then remove the stylus from the reset button.  This should work and the phone is very particular about order and timing.  You might have to try it several different times but this should work for you=)

Simple. It has a Search WAN option in Connections. Select that. and automatically it will search all WiFis around the house. Select the one that is yours and enter the WEP key when asked for. You are now on the net.
