Pull the spark plug and see what color it is, if it has small flecks of metal then the piston is scored. When was the air filter replaced and how does it look, entry of dirt will destroy an engine. If its on the compression stroke when you are pulling it will be hard to pull it, because you're fighting against the compression of the engine, make sure the valves are at the correct position and not fully closed when you are pulling.

15 seconds it is running out of gas. check flow from the tank.

have you checked the engine oil. most models have an oil motion pick up. they are fitted to most lawn mowers as well when the oil gets week it does not lift and engine will just cut out. replace oil with 20/50 oil.

Check that the fuel tank is not creating a vacuum. this will starve the engine. After it shuts down the vacuum dissipates and lets the fuel run into the carb again.

If it is an electronic accelerator pedal you have, perhaps poor contact on the wires/connector on the pedal. Lay down on the floor, and check if the connector is in it's place and no loose cables. I had same problems with brake pedal and signals from that one.

Hi, If you did the usual testing (comp,Carb cleaning, etc.) then I would go to the electronic ignition box if it has one. I've been fooled before. Checking for spark, wire off, or plug out, isn't the same as a plug under compression , Good luck.

I am not an expert but if the compressor is working, there is adequate gas and no blockages I believe the high pressure side should be considerably higher - perhaps more than 250 psi depending on the gas type and ambient temperature. Perhaps the compressor is faulty or there is a blockage.

Is the engine set up with starter now? If it does then you will have to mount a momentary switch and hook 1 wire to a 12volt source and the other to the spade terminal on the solenoid for cranking. If the engine does not have a starter mounted originally then you may want to look for another engine.
