The device probably needs to be reset. While the handset is on, simply take out the battery, wait 1 minute, reinstall the battery, and power the device back up. If this does not resolve your issue, then you may be looking at something more serious. There are cellular handset repair shops, one in particular is called CPR, they specialize in cellular handset repair, just not sure if you have one in your vicinity. If not, there should be a similar company that you can use.

i had this happen a while back on my htc 8120 and how i fixed it was take a usb cable to a computer and cut the mini usb off in there u will find a green black and red wire well cut the green wire and strip the black and red wire u will notice on your battery there are four post 2 hots and 2 negs take the red wire and split so it makes 2 and take the negative and split so it makes 2 now plug the usb into ur pc and touch the red wires to the 2 positive and take the 2 blacks and touch them to the 2 negatives it will only take a minute or so all u are trying to do here is jump the battery so your black berry has just enough juice to start so u can charge it.

You have to use the wipe setting in the settings of the phone this will take some time when it does it but it well wipe everything. If this dont work then you have use MobileUnlockers.com software to reconfigure the settings of the phone

Might need a new battery. they have a life span generally of 2 years. Found the batteries from E-bay are inexpensive and I have had good luck with them.

Could be that your USB port is defective, and thus your battery is not getting charged. Something you can try. Open up Desktop Manager (with the BlackBerry unconnected) open up the Application Loader. Before hitting next, pull the battery out of the 7750 for 5 to 10 seconds, then quickly put the battery back in, connect the BlackBerry, and hit next on the application loader. This should kickstart Application Loader to find the BlackBerry and allow you to reload the handheld software. So, make sure you have the handheld software installed on your comptuer (which you already do)

Look at the port and see if there is any corrosion on the contacts. The port will look green inside instead of silver if there is corrosion. Use rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to carefully remove any dirt of corrosion. Let the port dry as rubbing alcohol draws moisture out or may cause a short. the charging port my be bad, but if you use the usb cable you use to sync, it uses fewew number of pins, so you may be able to get a trickle charge from using your pc.
