Wow, lots of scary posts. If I had read this before, I would never have bought it. :) Anyways, there is a solution. I dont think this post was ever resolved, so I ran across this site that offered a few steps that allowed me to fix the reboot issue and a few nice folks who would reply to any questions. This sounds like a common problem with ifit on treadmills. I came across this site a few weeks back and it helped! try to RUN the software calibration, see your instr. manual how to enter and proceed for easy diagnose, troubleshooting, and fix it.God bless you

Take it of your Android system and just use the factory settings.

I also have an X9i treadmill hardly used .smells like its burning. It also is not acting right while on it. Whats causing this? it cost $2000.00 no joke I thought Norditrak was a better company. I purchased it from Back country.

I have same issue. Turn off the wifi and then turn the unit off, wait 1 min and turn on. They can't seem to fix!

Computer panel is possibly dead. I had them send me a completely new panel for my x9i. I was under warranty, though. It's actually pretty easy to install yourself, with their instructions and another person.

Have you tried turning the power off, unplugging the system . Wait 15 minutes then plug it in and power up.
