Fn function key working
What are you trying to do that it's not working? If your trying to adjust brightness go to power plans and change settings there. Some settings don't allow changes in brightness in certain situations.
DVD drive not being recognized
go to control panel and use the utility system restore. Go to some date the computer was working and fix it. Otherwise, restar the computer HOLD the CTRL key +f2 or esc depend of your computer mark, and go to restore factory default and fix it.God bless you

if you can hear the windows booting sound when you turn on the pc , then your screen needs to be replaced,,, othewise, please reboot the OS and check for the problem existance..

my LENOVE G570 screen just got broke last time while im watchin dvd.a crazy RGB shown-up and i dont know why!! then i start looking for "how to open a Lenovo G570 screen" then i came up with this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FwSoAzEXswthen i start cleaning the surface using pressured air from my balloon maker. .then i remove the "jack" or whatever you call that. . and erase it with a pencil eraser then put it back!!when i open my loptop again!!it suddenly work!!
