If your keypad is connected to your control board by a flat ribbon wire, try disconnecting it and clean the silver contacts with an ordinary pencil eraser. After cleaning, plug it back in and try it. If it doesn't fix it, replace the keypad unit. Some units actually have keypad tests to confirm your diagnosis of a bad key.If your keypad and control is the same unit, replace that unit. Another note, unlike stove/oven keypads and controls, most microwaves do not have error codes or tests to distinguish whether it is truely the keypad or control. Most of the time, it is the keypad that needs replacing, but a small percentage of the time it can be the control. Check the tech sheet if they can point you to the right part.

I would check out your breaker at your box . See what amps it is rated and see what your microwave is . Also your micro wave should only be on 1 breaker with nothing else on it

If the table does not turn it may not heat--A lot of these have a lever switch that is engaged when door closes--if it is not engaged no heat and no table movement---some actually break loose where they are mounted just inside the door frame (have to take apart unit to see them).This happens as with door being closed often and or hard they can come loose. Its a safety switch to prevent use of the oven with the door open.

I recommend you have a service man come in because it is more than a fuse, the keypad control board will need to be checked along with the rest of the system.

The magnetron probably has a partial short pulling more current than normal as it runs, the other two items that give trouble is the high voltage diode, "sometimes cracks" to the high voltage capacitor, "usually shorts"

You have a bad door switch that will need to be replaced.

The keypad control board has probably failed, only option is replacement, but part alone is $97. or more, maybe cheaper to replace the unit.

if you push the star button and no sound or anything comes from the unit then you have a bad user control. if you hit start and the machine starts working but not heating then i recommend replacing the magnatron capacitor and diode. use caution replacing these as the unit runs the mag with a 20,000 volt transformer

May be cheaper to replace than repair--Likely if has a turntable and it does work that the inverter (power) or the Magnatron is bad.Each of those parts can cost over 100 dollars not counting labor.If table does not move it may be another less expensive issue.

No! I do not recommend this, it needs to be vented out the shortest possible distance in order to insure maxium effect on removal.

Unplug microwve oven, remove top, "several screws" look over to right where the keypad control board is, look down to find a circuit board, a clipped in fuse should be near by, pop out and replace with same current rating, assemble before testing, "lethal voltage present"

If you have warranty use it asp, from the description the problem is in the keypad "membrane shorting" or the microprocessor control board is becoming intermittent, it will get to the point and stop functioning.

If the microwave oven is less than 7 years old there are too items that would be suspect, the magnetron, [heart of the unit] or the inverter board.

If your microwave runs, but doesn'theat your food, verify that you have selected a cooking setting. You mayaccidentally set the timer. Test the magnetron by placing 1 cup of water in themicrowave and heating the water for three minutes. If the water doesn't heat,your magnetron is dead.
