Replaced the bulbs underneath now they won`t turn off

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller. The lights can can be inoperable or stuck on or stuck in "night light" mode. Sometimes this will similarly affect the fan operation or inside light, too. The problem is on the controller assembly, which I regularly repair. Details are here. I also have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes. We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

What would cause a cloud of humidity to build up in a LMV1813ST LG microwave and then blow the fuse causing no power

If there was any odor, the cloud might have come from a failed component, such as the high voltage rectifier. That could blow the fuse. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_29ad5d1dd86564b0

Microwave went totally dead while operating; there is power to the outlet.

If the control panel lights up intermittently, then you either have a loose connection somewhere near the panel, or a failing component on the circuit board itself. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_29ad5d1dd86564b0

LG LMV1813ST MIRCOWAVE STOPPED WORKING?

The fuse can be replaced, but the underlying issue should still be investigated and resolved. Otherwise the new fuse will blow also. If the microwave is not working the thermal fuse may have blown. When a microwave stops working the problem is usually the line fuse or within the high voltage circuit; either the high voltage capacitor, diode, transformer or magnetron.

Trip Circuit Breaker

The circuit breakers may both be functioning properly. What might be happening is that both circuits have other current drawing appliances on them. The circuit breakers react to the sum of all of the currents drawn by all of the devices on that circuit. So, if you have a 15 amp microwave and an 8 amp refrigerator on the same circuit, you would overload a 20 amp circuit by 3 amps. My new LG solardome MA3884vc overheats melamine plate @30 seconds

If your LG Solardome microwave oven is overheating a melamine plate within 30 seconds, there could be a few potential issues at play:
  1. Power Settings: Check to see if the power settings on your microwave are too high. If it's set to a high power level, it can cause certain materials, like melamine, to overheat quickly. Try reducing the power level and see if that helps.
  2. Plate Material: Melamine plates are not suitable for use in microwave ovens as they can overheat and potentially release harmful chemicals into your food. It's recommended to use microwave-safe dishes made of glass, ceramic, or microwave-safe plastic.
  3. Microwave Performance: If the microwave is consistently overheating items within such a short time frame, it might indicate a malfunction. In this case, it's best to contact LG customer support or a certified technician to inspect and repair the microwave.
  4. Placement and Usage: Ensure that the plate is placed centrally on the turntable and not touching the sides of the microwave. Also, avoid using the microwave for extended periods without interruption, as this can cause overheating.
  5. Testing with Different Materials: Try using a microwave-safe ceramic or glass plate to see if the issue persists. If other materials heat up quickly as well, it could indicate a problem with the microwave itself.

How to remove door COVER from door of LG Microwave model LMHM2017ST

Here are the steps to remove the door cover from the door of your LG Microwave model LMHM2017ST:
  1. Unplug the microwave from the power source.
  2. Open the microwave door and locate the four screws on the inner edge of the door.
  3. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws.
  4. Carefully separate the outer door panel from the inner door panel.
  5. You will now see the door cover attached to the outer door panel.
  6. Use a flathead screwdriver or plastic pry tool to gently pry the door cover off of the outer door panel. Start at one corner and work your way around the edge.
  7. Once the door cover is removed, you can replace it with the brushed silver cover from the new door.
  8. To reassemble the door, simply snap the new cover onto the outer door panel and then reattach the outer door panel to the inner door panel using the four screws you removed earlier.
Make sure to be careful when removing the door cover, as it can be fragile and may break if handled roughly.

LG LMV1773SS microwave. Where are the fuses located on it please?

Question edited for clarity. It depends where you live? In the UK, the fuse is in the wall plug. In the US and other countries it _may_ be at the rear where the mains lead goes in. Sometimes they pull out, sometimes there is a small screw cap. If you are thinking of getting inside it, this Tip I wrote applies. https://www.fixya.com/support/r29874712-repairing_microwave_ovens ..

LG microwave door open pad broke.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Building Materials to LG Microwave. Take into an LG Service centre for repair. They are sealed by security screws and are dangerous inside. You won't be able to get parts.. If it is a counter top microwave and cost $60, just buy a new one as they are a disposable item.

A lg mp-9485s microwave does not operate on quick-start, but works on grill. what could be the problem?

A Combination microwave has two separate sides to it, a grill with elements and a microwave with a magnetron and associated step-up transformer, capacitors and circuitry. Check at the rear for a fuse, but you probably need an LG Service Centre. Click Support. https://www.lg.com/za/microwaves/lg-MP-9485S-microwave-oven ..
