D-Link Air Plus DP-G310 (dpg-310) Print Server - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Wireless printer connection with at&t u-verse
OK I FINALLY figured out how to fix this. You need to program your router to allow your printer to connect to it. Do this by going to your 2Wire router setting homepage by entering
http://192.168.1.254 in your address bar. Now sross to the bottom and click wireless. Go down to MAC Filtering and click Edit Blocked/Allowed Device List. You need your printers MAC address now. You can get this by turning your printer on and press the button that has a check mark on it. It will print out a report page. Your MAC address should be called the hardware address and should be 12 digits. Now go back to your computer and enter this address in the form xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx where it says MAC address and click add to list. You might need to enter your password now mich should be on a sticker on the bottom of your router. Voila! Now make sure you have uninstalled the HP software from your previous install attempts if you have any, and turn off your firewall. (Control panel--security---turn off firewall) Now use the provided HP install disk and follow the instructions. Click install a wireless printer. It will not find it now but thats okay. When it asks what type of connection you want to have click wireless. Now select the basic setup where you connect an ethernet cable to your printer and router. Now connect the printer and router with the ethernet cable. Now click refresh. It should find it now. You'll need to select your network name and enter your WPA network key (located on the bottom of the router if you didnt change it). It should find it now!! Remember to turn your firewall back on! Happy printing!!
I need to reset the print server wireless D-Link
go here and click on the exact version of air plus you have

then click on firmware and download the latest version, flash the firmware to your print server and it will reset it to default
The g-310 winreless print server
look at your manual that came with it it should show you how to configure it through the configuration page using an internet browser, the address will be usually 192.168.0.1?? the question mark is what you need to find out but it should be in the manual, you need to add the ssid and the password for the wireless network although i think that the g-310 only uses wep security and if your router is set to use wpa/psk then there is a conflict in protocol you will need to set the router to wep too. ok hope that helps
Connecting sharp AR 5316 to a wireless network for office use
With great difficulty.... Seriously though, you MUST get the driver for each operating system, Install each Driver on each machine, and then simply connect each computer to the printer as a "Networked" printer. I may be efficacious, to have all drivers on every PC, all in same Directory so that each is available to each other...Right ALL machines, must be in same WORKGROUP, ALL have a password, The printer MUST have a name, Install the drivers as Administrator.
How to connect a netfear router to a dell computer
I assume the Netgear is a wireless router and you want to connect to the router using a wireless connection.
Make sure the DELL computer wireless card is installed with the latest wireless card driver.
The Netgear router needs to be configured with the wireless settings ie SSID and
encryption etc.
Next

HP LaserJet 1018 & DP-G310
Does your network have a dedicated computer server and the printer is attached to this server or is the printer attached to a dedicated print server device?
OR
Does a computer on your network shares its printer with other computers on your network?
There is insufficient information on how you configured your printer setup for me to give you a proper answer to your problem.
I cannot print using DP-G310 print server
Sorry but P1005 does not come with its own processor to work of a Print Server, it needs PCs processor to process the printed file and send it in a specified format to it. This makes it cheaper for HP to make printers and sell at a margin because their is no processor in them. You have to get a printer which has a processor to work with a Print Server for instance look for Hp 1300 or HP 1100 series

I have a printer problem
Install the printer driver on the computer you want to use it on, Then in setup it SHOULD ask you if its a Local Printer or a Network printer, You choose network and it SHOULD find it on its own. Granted everything goes as it should...
Wireless laptop not printing
Indeed, you don't need the print server. Since your HP 6310 already has an integrated network port, you may setup and use it on your laptop the same way you do with your desktop. If you can browse the Internet wirelessly with your laptop, you should also be able to print.
