The power supply section of the tv may be faulty. Open your gadget and check if there are no popped up capacitors. When a capacitor at the power supply section is afftected by a surge, normally it pops up and resultantly affects the switching of the tv ....so check its voltage rating and capacitance and replace with the same value taking note of the polarity of the capacitor
You must first run LAN line from the TV to your router.Make sure the clock is set on the TVHit viera cast on your remote and you will be connected to the apps that are supplied to panasonic.If you haven't already set up your internet. you need to do so through the user menu. Auto set up works best for novice users.
This happened to me yesterday. My daughter put a penny and a dime in the SD slot and none of the buttons or volume were working on my TV.Only the power button would work.
I fixed it by simply removing the penny and dime out of the SD slot and then i held the power button for 10 seconds. After I unplugged the TV from its power source for 5 minutes and then plug it back in. When I turned the TV back on everything was back to normal.
For a second I thought I was going to have to buy a new TV, lol. Hope this helps. If it doesn't work the first time then try it a second time.

There are two types of guarante that a company offers to a customer. You must read the warrany conditions very well before buying any product. Some of them will give replacement waranty to their product. Some of them will offer only warannty. For the first, if the set shows any problem during its warranty period, the company will replace it with a new one without any question. For the second, they give only wararnty to you. Not a replacement waranty. They have only to do is to repair the faulty set and get it back to you. That is all. Sometimes, there may be delay in getting the spare parts. Sometimes it may tak months. There is no predicted time for that. On some occations, they will ask you the cost of component, as thay claim that the failure occured by your use. If so, that amoun vertually contain their service charge too. I thinks that you got me.
So when you go to buy an other product, buy ony the product that the company assures replacement warranty for a period of 6 months or so. If you have bought the set without replacement warranty now, you will have to suffer. OK.

Locate the lamp cover on the projector.
Remove the lamp cover.
Take out the old lamp.
Insert the new lamp.
Replace the lamp cover.
Reset the lamp hours:
Press the Enter button to display the "Option" menu.
Use the 5 or 6 button to select "Lamp Runtime".
Press and hold the Enter button for approximately 3 seconds.
The "Lamp Runtime" will change to "Time Reset [Power Off]".
Turn off the power and disconnect the power cord.
Finally, plug in and turn on the projector.

The VCR and DVD recorder won't eject/open on command either, so my guess is the capacitors on the power board are dead. Upvote
