Hello sir; Just follow my direction, it will reset your machine;
1, press "clear mode", "107", then press and hold down "clear/stop" key.
2, touch "copier SP" on the screen.
3, enter "5810-001" press enter.
4, set value to 0, then turn power off and back on again.

LD unit problem, or laser sync detector....requires a tech for sure.

So far, I have not found that this unit, when equipped with the optional WIFI card, is AirPrint compatible. However, if you have a Windows PC on your network, and it has drivers for the MP171, you can get an AirPrint Print Server program called "Presto," from Collobos. https://collobos.com/airprint.html

Now after you scan to picture, copy and paste to a document and print or just print the image and send to the new 'printer' to PDF thingee and voila ... IH inverter current error at power on. Either the fuser is damaged or the invertor coil is defective. You really should have a Ricoh tech look at that one. It is not an easy fix for the layman.

It is in the Ricoh maintenance kit.

Dirty thermistor in the fusing unit.

What model? That is a fuser error code.

Must have the paper loaded in landscape in one tray and portrait in the another. Then select sort mode on the panel when copying.
