I am looking for a new motor for my 8920 Ricaar Vacuum. Can you lead me in the right direction. I can put it in my self. I replace them before. I used Ricaar for 25 years. Love them

From Which brand you machine ?

air has more space to go through, will be harder to use on carpet until some dirt gets into the airbag, it will be easier, but you will need to replace bag again

Maybe check the belt, i it is stretched it will not turn properly. Also check to see if there is a reset button. If so push the button. Chris

Once water or other liquids get into the motor, it's ruined. The smell is a dead give-away that the motor has burned out and needs replaced.
