I was about to join in the throwing out the window, when it hit me to disconnect everything but the power supply including the machine that you use to access the admin. Hold the reset, wait a few moments then connect only the admin system, I did it with a network cable. Enter new settings and all phones/laptops etc connect fine now. Hope this helps.

" 401 unauthorized" authorization required " .This message means the user name and password for the router is not correct. the default password of the Linksys router is admin with no user name ( leave it blank )
If the default password is not working then the router password must be changed.
If you don't know the password of the router then you will need to reset and reconfigure the router.
Once you reset the router , it will come back to the factory default settings.

If you are comfortable working with networking devices, there is a users manual at the following link; http://setuprouter.com/router/arris/tg862g-ct/manuals.htm Page 17 has a pic of the rear panel layout. It will show you the reset button, and you can use a toothpick to gently push in the button and start fresh with factory. It will reconfigure itself using providers data that it will download and setup. YOU can then start fresh with it. YOu can also contact your cable provider, for more help with this issue. (I know, THAT stinks!). Don't forget to rate this answer if it helped you!

Hi, The default username and password for model WBR-100 is Username "admin" and password "admin" Hope this helps.

usually underneath the router will contain a password and username if there is none there or if it's been changed. You can always contact your ISP as they will be able to configure it and/or give you your current username and password.

log onto the router with details on back of the router then you will have control of everything your router can do

did you forget your password? did you forget your email you used when creating? is there an error message? does the page just never load? are you really trying to hack somebodys facebook because your a jealous psychopath? 1)go to facebook.com 2)If you can't login click "forgot your password" 3)if you don't know your email, phone, username, or full name (which is pretty sad) click "I can't identify my account" 4)follow the directions there if none of these steps work create a new facebook good luck

Ensure you have a driver installed for your wireless network adapter. Click My Computer or Computer (Windows Vista/7/8), Properties, Device Manager. If you have a red X on your wireless it is disabled, right click and Enable. If it has a yellow ! then you need to download and install a driver to resolve the issue.
