Blocking web sites
Do you mean you want to block some web sites?
If you have the model using the ASUSWRT software, from the main menu, click on Firewall in the Advanced Settings category.
Then click the URL Filter tab. In the Basic Config, make sure you have Enable URL Filter = enabled
Then you can add specific domains.
e.g. facebook.com
Don't forget to click Apply after you've added the domains.
You might find you also need to go round each computer on the network, to clear their caches of IP addresses, before your URL Filter can take effect. OpenDNS has a good FAQ article on that subject, so no point in me repeating it. See here:

Repair onlione
You have a very nice router. If you are having network troubles with it, it can't hurt to reset everything and start over. There is a reset button in the back and if you hold it in for 10 - 15 seconds, it will remove all settings to default and if it crashed, you'll not have that to worry about either.
Routers are basically mini Linux computers and are not perfect. Just like a PC, something might crash and need to be reset. After you do the basic troubleshooting, use the default user name and password listed on the back of the router to login to it via your web browser. The login IP should be listed on the back of the unit as well. If you cannot find it, then do an internet search for the default login information for your model. Usually is is 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.0.1
Once you get into the web interface admin screen, go into your wireless settings and assign passwords for security. As long as your modem that connects with your ISP is DHCP based, it will automatically be configured to work online with no input from you. If your modem is not automatic DHCP, then contact them for the account details you need to connect.
Mtu settings
The default value is fine MTU of 1500. I doubt that is the reason you can't connect to a site. What sites can you not connect to and what error/messages do you get?
How do I enhance my Asus PadFone X mini speaker loudness?
Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Graphics card no picture on monitor when connected via HDMI or any cable?
The issue you are experiencing with your graphics card and monitor can be caused by various factors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to identify and resolve the problem:
1. Check power connections: Ensure that the graphics card has the necessary power connections properly connected. Some higher-end graphics cards require additional power connectors, such as 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Make sure they are firmly plugged in.
2. Verify BIOS settings: Access your motherboard's BIOS settings and check if the primary display output is set to the PCIe slot where your graphics card is installed. It should be set to prioritize the discrete graphics card instead of the integrated graphics (if applicable).
3. Update BIOS and drivers: Visit the Gigabyte website and make sure you have the latest BIOS version installed for your motherboard. Additionally, download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card from the XFX or AMD website. Outdated firmware or drivers can cause compatibility issues.
4. Reset BIOS: Try resetting the BIOS to its default settings. Locate the CMOS battery on your motherboard, remove it for a few minutes, then reinsert it. This action resets the BIOS settings to their defaults and may resolve any conflicting configurations.
5. Check for physical damage: Inspect the graphics card for any physical damage, loose connections, or faulty components. Ensure that it is securely inserted into the PCIe slot and that there are no visible signs of damage on the card or its connectors.
6. Test with a different monitor and cable: Connect your graphics card to a different monitor using a different cable (e.g., DisplayPort, DVI) to rule out potential issues with the HDMI cable or the monitor itself. This helps determine if the problem lies with the graphics card or the specific combination of monitor and cable.
7. Check for motherboard compatibility: Verify that your graphics card is compatible with your motherboard. Check the manufacturer's website for compatibility lists or consult the user manual for your motherboard. In some cases, a BIOS update might be necessary to ensure compatibility.
8. Seek professional assistance: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's advisable to contact the technical support of your motherboard or graphics card manufacturer. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or recommend further action, such as warranty service or component replacement.
Remember to handle your hardware with care and take necessary precautions, such as grounding yourself and disconnecting the power supply, before performing any physical checks or adjustments.
I am using an Asus Vivo mini computer approx 5 years old. Since December I often receive error message across top, "Microsoft Edge (not responding)"
Question edited for clarity and toss in a load of CAPS as needed.
Microsoft Edge is one of the worst browsers ever invented. It is flashy and looks pretty, but is not user friendly and is glitchy.
The most likely issue for that Error Message is your Internet Wifi signal dropping out. You can test this theory two ways.
Do you have a smartphone? Download the Free App Speedtest. When you get the Edge Error, whip out your phone and do a Speed Test. If it stalls or only returns a speed of 5 to 10 mbps, that is your issue.
Or Download Google Chrome which is FREE and a much more robust browser and easier to use. Keep both Edge and Chrome open, when Edge collapses, try to do things on Chrome. If Chrome works, then the issue is Edge. If Chrome also fails, the issue is your Wifi and Router. A Router reboot should be done about once a month.
