Sidekick 2 camera says ...
Quite simple, and t-mobile was no help:
This solution worked for me, YMMV.
Hit the menu key > System settings.
Within system settings, press menu, shift, and d key.
This will open up the diagnostics program. Run all of the checked options. When that completes, return to the diagnostics program again, and select only "Battery disconnect."
I left the phone in this state overnight, and the camera worked the next morning.
Hopefully this is helpful.

How do i set my pics as backgrounds and my music i
When you open a pic to view it go to Options and you will find an option whereby you can use this pic as the wallpaper.
if the music file is in .mp3 format then you can select this file and from Options you can use it as the ringtone. Alternatively go to Settings->Sound->Ringtones. Here select this file from the list of ringtones that appear.

How to open sidekick and get my simcard out
The SIM card door is covered by a rubber casing that peels back. Pull back the rubber flap to access the SIM card door. The flap that needs to be pulled back is the top left corner of the Sidekick above the Menu key.
Insert the SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing up and the cut corner facing out. When you release the SIM card, make sure it is locked into position behind the catch so it does not spring out. Replace the bumper, and then turn on the device.
It appears that inserting the SIM into a Sidekick is a rather tricky process. If the above does not completely solve your problem, here is a link to more details on inserting the SIM card.

I forgot my privacy lock password on my sidekick
Most likely you have put a pin code on this phone. This code is stored in the SIM card and when you power up the phone it asks for a pin code before you can operate the phone.
In some cases when you enter the wrong pin code too many times the SIM card will lock up. You need to contact the phone service provider for assistance to unlock/remove the pin code.

WANT TO UNLOCK BLACKBERRY
Your BB 8830 from Sprint cannot be unlocked for use in the US.
Check with Sprint before you hit the road just in case. But you can still get it unlocked from
here.

I WANT TO ENABLE SIM
You are trying to use a SIM on the phone that is not permitted. The phone is locked to a specific network's simcards and will not work with other networks until it is unlocked. to obtain the code, you have to call the customer service of the
network its locked to, if its locked to tmobile call tmobile if its
locked to AT&T then call AT&T I did look around and found a posting that the code would be 60558237 http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Unlock_code_for_sidekick_2 probably won't work.

I NEED A SPECIAL CODE TO ENABLE SIM IN MY SIDE
If your trying to unlock the sidekick to work on any other networks sim card other tne T-Mobile. you will need to call T-mobile and ask for the unlock code. They have to give it to you, and you will get it for free.
Now if you are a T-mobil user, and your trying to use a t-mobil sim card, then your sim card was not programed correctly, or has gone bad, and you will either need to go get a new sim card, have it reprogrammed, and deffently call T-Mobile about this issue.
(they provide the sim cards, and the data on them, and have access to your account, they will be the only ones that can handle any account issues)
Sorry, again this can't be more helpful other then where to find our unlock code. Like i said this is an account issue problem.

My Hiptop wont read the sim card?
Either there're problems with your MS or the MS card-reader.
Suggest you to bring it back to the dealer that you bought it from, both Hiptop & MS card.
