turn your sidekick over..

there is a slot for your sim card. and just slip it in the right way it tells you to..
PS.. always turn off your device before you take your battery out.. or you might lose some information..

open up the phone and try to unjam the power button buddy.. clean around the button too with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol... might of got stuck because of dirt..

A lot of phones do not turn on while they are charging if it is dead when you plug it in. Most go to a charging screen and then shut off when you unplug them, so you have to turn it on afterwords.
It's a different story if it turns off when you plug it in though, my advice would be to take it to a repair shop.

hi hold down the 10@ key all at the same time it will rest the phone when the turns off hold down the r key till you see the four logos it will restart when you get to the activation screen hold down the l key and the top left button at the same time then you should be all set

1. Remove the battery and the SIM card from the device.
2. Flip the sidekick open; press and hold the letter 'r' on the keypad.
3. While holding the letter 'r', place the battery back in the device. DO NOT INSERT THE SIM CARD YET.
4. The sidekick will restart itself twice. Please make sure not to let the letter 'r' go until it has fully rebooted.
5. Once it has fully rebooted, remove the battery, re-insert the SIM card and battery and power up the device.
6. Once the device has fully rebooted, all prior information should be erased from the device and it should be restored back to the default factory settings

I think your phone was locked by security code. Try to search on google to find the unlocked code

make sure that u r using a good condition data cable
install the software or driver provided to you on the time of purchase... if u dont have the software try searching it on the internet.
enter your handset name and its model number
if the manufacturer has its website, search u might find it..

Phone passcode:
if you haven't actually manually changed it, the password is always the last four digits of your phone number (ex. 1-555-868-2212 your password is 2212). If you manually changed it, you need to call your cell phone provider and have that worked out.

i can deduce you are having problems signing into your account which may be as result of wrong passcode because i also own a sidekick as well.In cases like this,the best option is to contact the T-mobile customer care for assistance,here's their number ;800-937-8997 or dial 611 from your device

You'll need to use the original AC charger that came with the phone as most computer USB ports are not capable of producing the power necessary to bring a battery up from being completely dead. If that doesn't work (your phone should be able to power up within an hour or two of plugging in the AC charger), you'll need to get a new battery.

Your Sidekick operates on a GSM cellular network. Your Boost SIM card (and Boost Mobile phones) operate on an iDEN cellular system. You cannot use a Boost SIM card in a Sidekick. (FYI - SIM cards cannot be unlocked. Only cellphones phones can be unlocked.)

If it has a place for the sim card, it certainly should work.

underder the scroll thing theres a like sign with a o and it look like a i inside it u push on there for like 3-6 secs then u will see it turn on like 4 secs ltr

you have whats called white screen of death take it to a nokia care point
