LG 32LK330 TV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
What are the microfarads of the capacitors on the main board?
This information should be on the side of the capacitors themselves. -Steve(EDIT)Now that we know that the capacitors seem to have been glued to the PCB with the required information concealed, great care MUST be taken so as not to damage the board. My next question would be to ask what reason would you have to suspect the capacitor(s) to be faulty? Is there physical damage to the case? I would STRONGLY recommend not using a heat gun to attempt removal of any component from a printed circuit board. The heat these generate is easily enough to lift the copper runs putting you into an entirely new world of hurt. I would suggest desoldering first with a low-power iron (less than 15W) THEN a fine X-acto type blade to work the component free.

HOw do I remove the base from a LG 32LK330 flat screen TV
Lay the tv screen facing down on something soft like your sette or bed so the base is hanging over the edge.
At the back you should see screws on the base, if not visible they will be under a cover which should prise off

My lg tv has power and blue light comes when powered up the goes to red blinking light never a picture or audio
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. Viewing it in "
Mosaic" or "
Magazine" will make surf easy.

The TV turns on, then
hi,
let me ask you first how old is your LCD TV? if it is 2 years old and above the problem could be a bad backlight lamp or a bad inverter board.Back light lamp is a cold cathode flourescent tube installed at the top and bottom of the screen this lamp is the one illuminating the screen .this lamp is supplied by a high voltage coming from the inverter board.when this lamp is faulty you will have a black screen with sound.often problem from this section of TV is a loose inter connection of boards cold solder of connectors try re seating all the connectors sockets make sure they are properly seated.resolder all the connectors terminal heats weakens them..good luck and let me know how it goes..

I have a LG dvd
player 5083 inserted the disc the correct way into the draw but the machine does not play the disc a very slight humming noise is heard then it spits the drawer back out
Clean the Lens: Use a DVD cleaning disc to clean the lens. If the problem persists, consider professional cleaning.
Test Other Discs: Try playing different DVDs to see if the issue occurs consistently. If it's specific to one disc, that disc might be the problem.
Check for Updates: Make sure your DVD player's firmware is updated. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for firmware updates.
Try a Different TV: Connect your DVD player to a different TV to see if the noise disappears. If it does, the issue might be with your TV.
The hum is simply the player trying to read the disc. It can't so, it spits it out.
Remember that prolonged use of a malfunctioning DVD player could potentially cause damage. If the problem persists, consider seeking professional repair or replacement
