Just check and fix below : - Refrigerant pressure ( need to top up if found low pressure) - Wrong set of thermostat ( set it to middle or a bit colder)

If its freezing at the back that indicates refrigeration is good. it sounds like you have a thermostat control problem. Replace the thermostat.

If you are sure about the gas smell, it is due to a gas leak. It needs repairs. Take it to a repair center.

I dont recommend the refrigerator repair you are performing, as you are altering how it is designed to receive power. Furthermore, there is no negative and positive wiring on a 120 v A/C circuit, only hot and neutral. That being said, on a typical two wire cord, the hot lead is usually the ribbed side. On a three wire cord, the ground usually runs along the center.

You may have to go for a repair.

i think there can be possible low gas problem it,s naturally if in your freezer there is low gas then it,s coil get warm. it,s coz of low gas so please contact to your service technician for find out leakage and brazing it and then refill the gas. i hope after that your freezer will work well.

You're funny. This is a portable 12/120 volt model. It dosn't have a water dispenser or ice maker :-)

the ice cream is the clue,if it goes hard then the temp is too low (ice cream best kept at -18C)
either the defrost is not working or interior temp sensor duff.
