Download dvd driver

Go to Computer => System => Device Drivers, select the drive from the list, right click it and choose Update Driver.

My lg burner doesn't work completely

Did you install the drive? Or was it installed by a computer tech?The problem you are having seems to be no power to the drive,Check to see if you have plugged in the power to the drive.

When i enter cd/dvd into lg dvd drive it does not show anything

Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll down cd-dvd rom drives you might see a yellow question /exclamation mark ? ! or a red X right click to update driver you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd restart your computer then plug them back this should activate the found new hardware wizard if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem if you cant see your disk drive in windows explorer Close all open programs

Click on Start, Run, and type regedit and press Enter Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

SYSTEM

CurrentControlSet

Control

Class

{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

Upper Filters

Lower Filters

Upper Filters.bak

Lower Filters.bak

If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose DeleteAfter deleting the keys, close the registry editorReboot your computerOpen My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives have returned. You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that the yellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.

if this fails to fix the problemIt could be a problem with the lens you could use a liquid type lens cleaner place 2-3 drops on top of a cd/dvd then run it

Driver download

Here is LG's support page for your product. Register the drive, once you've registered the product you can request free support in resolving your issue with LG. There doesn't seem to be a driver available for the product which leads me to believe you don't need any additional software to make it work!

I wrote my empty dvd disc with lg writer and when the second time i added some more data , my first data is not displaying and only second time written data is only displaying with disc2 information,p

your burning program does it support multisessionyou will need to select a multisession burn if you want to add more files to a disk after the burn will be finalised otherwise you will not be able to read the first if you add more aafter without a multisession burnhope this helps

Lg dvd writer is not working prperly

Click start control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to cd/dvd rom drives right click properties then properties again then tick enable cd digital cd audio for this cd rom device or scroll to dvd regions select the no _ for your specific area If this does not fix the problem you might try you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd-rom then plug them back in this should activate the found new hardware wizard or you might have to uninstall then reinstall your DVD/CD or uninstall the driver then reinstall for this device click start control panel admistrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd dvd rom drives right click you will see options to update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall make sure that the cd-dvd burner is getting enough power test all leads that are attached to the dvd drive including electrical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem Close all open programs

Where can i get a

Hi,These devices are Plug-and-Play devices. No need for drivers. Just simply connect it to the internal power supply, the PCI connector or SATA connector, the device should automatically be detected. If not then it calls for a new CD/DVD-ROM drive.Thank you for choosing FixYa!
