How to fix error f3 f200 002 satellite c850 IS it
replacing a hard drive is a lot cheaper then a computer I know this because I work on computers for a living. By the way if you have not done a backup of your data and the hard drive you have now is completely dead as it won't run then you have lost your data. when you by a new hard drive they don't have Windows or any information to make your computer run, so you will need a windows Operating system disc to reinstall Windows on the new hard drive.

Where is the master reset button
There is no master reset button for a laptop. You can use your recovery feature (if available) or use the disk that came with the laptop to reinstall the software. Either option will give you a fresh start.

Hi,
A lot of factors needs to be considered. First, make sure the audio is not on mute. Second, make sure the audio device driver is up to date. Third, the audio device might be defective.

Can I upgrade the video
No, you can't upgrade graphics hardware on a laptop. It's integrated on the motherboard. There isn't room in a laptop case for expansion slots like you have in desktop, so you can't change what's there. All you can do in a laptop computer is make sure you have the most up-to-date graphics drivers, which can be downloaded from the manufacturer's support site.

Hello , I recently cleared
Hi,
Improve the Fixya.com experience for everyone by voting!Unfortunately, I would either have to be in the chat mode or on the telephone with you to fully analyze your problem and provide a coherent answer. But don't despair because there is a little FREE program that may solve your problem.
It happens periodically that our computer shuts down, restarts, hibernates or some other weird thing when we really don't want it to. I'm going to pass on to you a FREE and hard to believe program from Microsoft! I have no idea why this little program hasn't been advertised but then I don't own their stock.
Just click on the following link and your problem should be solved:
Download Microsoft's Fixit
I don't know your skill level so my suggestion is that you utilize the automatic function of Fixit.
Be a hero and fix your friends' computers; just don't tell them how you did it! That will be our little secret.
All the best,
Ben

I'm trying to locate the internal battery.
You can find a good step by step for finding the battery at the following site:
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaA65/satA65_1.htm
You should be able to take the bottom cover off after Step 3, which should expose the CMOS(internal) battery. If you can't see it after Step 3, you will have to keep following the steps until the battery is exposed.
Use something thin and sharp to pop the battery out of its socket, and be sure not to drop it on your motherboard.

HD failed on Toshiba laptop
Hello,
When you installed the new hard drive, do you reinstall XP from the laptop or the desktop? If you have not done so, install the os from the laptop. Also if you have the capability, you can transfer the data from the old drive to the new one and it should work fine. The software usually comes with the new hard drive.
Good Luck

I turn on my computer
Hi.
It sounds like your Toshiba's bios is froze.
Here, try this procedure, it might get you going again.
First, disconnect everything from your laptop, including taking out the battery, and unplugging it.
Next, press and hold the power button for at LEAST 45 seconds to a minute.
This is known as a soft reset.
Next, put the battery in, and see if it will boot up on the battery.
If so, then you are good to go.
This is most likely the problem, so this should work for you.
I hope I helped you out some, and good luck !

I am not able to connect to my wireless network on
If you recently purchased your notebook, wifi may not be enabled. There is typically a switch on the side to enable the wifi card. Locate that and make sure it is on. Also Fn+F8 should activate and deactivate your wifi. Hope that helps.
