Ebel Classic Hexagon Automatic Power Reserve 9304F515335145 1215872 Watch for Men Questions & Answers
Clasp on ebel classic ladies watch is worn. Can it be repaired?
Yes it can be. Take it to a reputable watchmaker and they should be able to adjust your clasp. Usually what happens as a watch is worn for a few years the little brackets that lock the clasps down start to push outwards. so they are not fitting snug against the lock bar of the clasp. A watchmaker should be able to use a jeweler pliers to adjust them back to normal. costs about 15 dollars.
Change men's ebel watch battery
This is for a woman's watch but may apply to yours. You need to remove the screws around the bezel of the front of the watch (not accessed through the rear like most watches).Be sure to use the correct size screwdriver to avoid marring the screws. Then you will need to remove the half of the split stem attached to the crown. Remove the movement from the front, replace the cell, lube the gaskets, and reassemble. This has been asked before. Have an Ebel Men's Watch:
The really nice thing about your watch is that when you need a battery, the watch gives you a 30 day notice by having the second hand do what I call " a triple step" where the watch keeps time, but youe second hand goes 3-4 steps real fast and then stops. Please take your watch to a reputable watch repairman, because your watch has a Cartier movement , and NOBODY but Cartier has the parts for your watch if somebody who dosn.t know what they are doing messes it up. If you have anymore problems feel free to ask me anytime . I LOVE EBELS!!!!
