How to bios recovery on
Follow these steps:
- Remove Laptop Battery
- Remove Memory Cover
- Spread spring clips to outside and
- pull out RAM memory
- Remove clear vinyl label opposite RAM memory slots
- In the upper left corner you will see JOPEN1 with a white silkscreen square
Inside the square you will see what looks like the letter T over a U. Using a metal paper clip short the U to the Silver 1/4"post connecting the motherboard to the laptop case and hold it for 25 -30 seconds. Place back your RAM memory, put in the laptop battery and test start laptop. you should see a selection of F1 or F2 for setup. Using the F2 gets you into the Bios menu where you reset the time and date. Then Tab over to the SECURITY setting tab and change your passwords. Then hit F10 key.

Shami

No boot, powers up and
Hi there! What is happening here is the computer is not posting up. Does it show you the windows logo? I believe not? Usually for this kind of problem you can try this steps . First unplug all the external devices connected to your computer like printer, scanner then unplug the power cable/Ac adapter connected to your computer from the power outlet or strip if your using one and make sure that you will take out the battery as well.. Try to press and hold the power button for like 20seconds (you have to do that to remove any flea power inside the system we called this "power cycle").After that plug in the Ac adapter and start the computer normally by pressing the power button again. If the system power on normally that would be great but if not there might be problem with the hardware so you have to contact Toshiba it will be better if the system is still in warranty (Take note of the keyboard lit lights as well cause Toshiba technical support might ask that ). Hope this help you. God Bless...

I dont have sound download
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem
have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps
