Did your webcam come with a disk? If so run the disk on your computer this should have the driver. If not, the maker of the webcam will more then likely have a website where you can get the driver.. Simple download the driver and install it. Windows may even find a driver its self.

Did u try loading in safe mode?

U can change the direction back in video settings....which os do u use? usually it will be present where u change the video resilution and frequency...

Make sure no accessories are plugged into your laptop. First remove the battery and try a bootup. If does not bootup, remove the hard drive if you can and try again. If still no full boot, you can try the DVD drive and then the memory. Replace what you have found to be the problem. If none solves the bootup problem, it is either the power supply itself or a mainboard problem, which would required service from an authorized service center from Dell. Verify the center with Dell. The parts I have indicated to try are normally easily removed from the bottom of the laptop, by removing a few small screws.

click start control panel on the left select hardware and sound then select manage audio devices then recording you should see a microphone right click select enable windows 7 click start control panel on the left select hardware and sound then select manage audio devices then recording you should see a microphone right click select configure speech recognition then you will see earphones with a speaker among a list set up a microphone headset with microphone then next and next again you should see your earphones with microphone being configured click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it or select audio from the microphone drop down list make sure you have the right one selected and in the volume box make sure the microphone box has a tick in it or select the voice tab make sure that you have the right media selected also select volume make sure the box for microphone has a tick in it

window 7 right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar select either playback or recording devices you should see your microphone listed under the recording tab right click on it select

Everything fails. Try and re seat the card and if it doesn't work try in a different port.

What is the problem? Open Control Panel, Power settings, Advanced power settings, set to High Preformance, Set Sleep and Hibernate to Never , Set Lid close to Shut Down, adjust setting to your preference, Always shut down your Laptop, unplug when not in use. Remove battery if you use on AC most of the time, your laptop will last longer and a boot everyday resets the computer.

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions.
