How do i reset my wifi password
There should be a button on the bottom of the router labeled 'reset'
push it in and the router will reset to factory settings.
( dhcp is usually enabled by default)
the lights for network activity should blink for a few seconds as the
router gets a new ip from the network. you should then
be able to go to 192.168.1.1
and access the router.
some motorola routers use an address in the 10.x.x.x
range

How do I find my wifi password
if this is the first time setup, then you would consult the docs that came with it for the 'default' password.
If not, then you can log-in to the Router, (which requires yet another password...) and look at it, or at the least allow you to change it to something else.

Before following the steps in this article, check if your wireless computers have stable connection when connected to other wireless networks (hotspots).
Frequent wireless disconnection can be caused by different factors such as:
i. Wireless interference within the network.
ii. Wireless settings of the Linksys gateway are still set to default.
iii. Firmware is corrupted.
Reducing Wireless Interference
If you are experiencing frequent disconnection from the wireless network, it will help if you check the following factors, all of which can greatly affect your wireless signals:
2.4 GHz interference: Your gateway may be operating on the same frequency as your cordless telephone system (or even your neighbors'), or other nearby equipment. Try to change your gateway's channel to 1 or 11 (the default channel is 6) and restart the wireless computers.
Physical obstructions: Your gateway or wireless computers may be losing connectivity because of physical obstacles such as walls and floors. Try to move the equipment to different locations to find a better link.
Placement of the gateway: Linksys suggests that you place your gateway as high off the ground as possible. When placing the gateway in a high location, leave a distance of two feet between the gateway antenna tips, ceiling, and wall. If your signal passes through multiple floors, place the gateway on the upper-most floor, and high up in the room.
Surroundings: Keep the gateway away from large metal objects, bodies of water (fish tanks, bathrooms), and any electrical equipment including television sets, microwaves, radios, etc.

How do i disconnect wifi from my modem/router?
You could get more specific answers if you posted what kind of router you have.
In general, you have three basic options: 1) Disable wifi entirely 2) Change wifi password and don't tell your son (be sure to disable guest access if your router has that) 3) Restrict access to specific devices and don't include your son's.
All three of these are accomplished using your router's configuration screens, so what you would do is connect to your router by pointing your web browser at its address, usually something like
http://192.168.1.1. Then you have to log in using your router's administrative user id and password. Then find the appropriate screen to do one of the options I suggested, make the change, save the change, and usually reboot your router.
These things are not always straightforward, for example, to disable wifi entirely on my Netgear WNR3500L router you have to go to the Advanced wifi options page and uncheck the setting "Enable wireless router radio".
Note: While you are in there you probably ought to change the administrative password for your router because the defaults for most brands are well-publicized and your son could get in there and lock you out or re-enable his access.

Unbrick router e2500
If you installed dd-wrt for your new router firmware it's possible you installed the wrong firmware. In most cases, it's permanently bricked. If not, you can try the 30/30/30 method to reset the router to its original factory settings. That is
1. Unplug the router and press the reset button for 30 secs
2 plug in the router and press the reset button for 30 secs
3 unplug the router again and press the reset button for 30 secs
During the entire process keep the reset button depressed. It takes some good hand coordination. 20/20/20 always worked for me for all the linksys routers I've owned over the years.

How to change the password router
Press the 'reset' button on the back of the router for approximately 5 seconds. This should reset the router to its standard user and password.
Since you didn't post the model of your router, I can't tell you what the standard user and password is.

Where is wep key location
WEP key is in your router's configuration settings.
in windows open a command prompt (search for "cmd" from the start menu)
in command prompt type "ipconfig"
Look for "default gateway" and remember the ip address listed for it
in your browser (internet explorer, firefox, chrome) type the ip address from the default gateway into the address bar. probably something like 192.168.0.1
once you access the router settings, the WEP key is under the WIRELESS section, called security.

Ryobi manuals
For which model Ryobi product do you need the manual? Many manuals are available here:
https://www.ryobitools.com/outdoor/support/manuals . Just searching for Router gave a number of options. Since most fixed base or plunge routers will adjust similarly for a given style, you should be able to find some information that applies to your router.
I hope this helps.

The SSID can be changed on the router when you reset the router. You have to change all of your wireless devices to the new SSID before they can work on your wireless system.
