it cant be repaired but it should be able to be replace but i havent seen a replacement screen so u might just have to buy a new one

Try using a paperclip to reset it on the back, hold it in for 5 seconds, if that doesnt work:Turn the tablet all the way off, press and hold the VOL - and power at the same time for 8 to 9 seconds, it will show a green android guy with a system recovery menu. Use vol - to go down to Wipe Data/Factory Reset, press the power button to select it, go down to 'yes' to confirm, press the power button to select it, it will wipe the tablet, you then press the power button on 'reboot system'.

There are two methods of reset Coby Kyros MID8024: 1. Soft Reset 2. Hard Reset Steps for Soft Reset:

• Take out the battery.
• Reinsert the battery.
• Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.

That's soft reset. If your device doesn't load after this, try hard reset. Steps for Hard Reset:

• Switch off the device.
• Press and hold Volume Up + Home Button + Power Key.
• After 2-3 seconds, release the Power Key.
• You will enter boot screen, Select Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
• Select Yes.

This will delete all the files including apps, personal data stored in phone memory. Don't worry it doesn't wipe off the SD Card so you should make a backup of your files stored in phone memory.

sometimes it get over heating soo give it some time to cool of !!

try removing the battery for 30 min .

You need to re-install the firmware, not the original one, but a clean version that is available here: http://www.craigelectronics.com/firmware_update/android4.0/cmp741e_firmware4.0_cleaner.rarWill reboot several times, and fail the first run, but it will work on restart. It has worked for me and at least 2 other people that I know of.

Go to Google or you tube and enter the information of you device that you intend to fix. I did it when my clr get broken , I get a video step by step. Good luck.

Either you have a bad battery or the charger is not putting out the correct voltage to charge it. Check the output of the charger, if its OK, the batery is bad.

Check the output of the charger to make sure its delivering the proper voltage to the tablet.

Steps on how to do the restart. -You have to turn off the system. -Then press and hold the power button until you will see a message that will popup in a window that saying "Device Options"Appears on the screen. -Then select the power off again then you can see it again.You can be able to check that it first. -Then just select okay And while holding down the -Back -Button -Then Press and hold the power button. -Until you see the Coby`s Logo -Then wait until it change to Android Logo. - Then press the Back button.And Then the system menu will appear in the screen. -And then choose the wipe data/factory reset. >Home >Menu Buttons >Press the back,the button once you select the wipe data/factory reset then just click option.
