You can't connect the speakers to your TV. I doesn't have any audio output available, just inputs. Those are for connecting the audio from sources like DVD players, and they go in to the TV's sound system. But there's no way of getting the sound out except through the set's internal speakers. The surround system you got is great for a computer, but it's not what you need for TV use.

The only solution I can offer is the suggestion that you invest in a home theater receiver. You can get decent basic systems with the receiver (often with DVD/audio CD playback capability built in) and surround speakers at reasonable prices. Then you use that to drive the speakers, and use the TV just as a video monitor. Then you will have surround sound.

Are you sure you plugged the right audio jack in? The green in the green? Is Windows working with other speakers? Do you have drivers for the soundcard? Those are the most common problems.

Logitech X-530... | Answered on May 26, 2011

if you where having sound before then its the way you connected it make sure the green cable for audio is in the green slot on your sound card in the back. when you click your volume control is it up all the way and trying to register sound? or is it muted

Hi,

I assume that you are trying to run them from a pc, try plugging them into another sound source like tv headphone socket or a media player to see if any sound is emitted from these, if sound is heard then its to do with your computer. Check your sound output settings to make sure the pc isn't muted or turned down and ensure that you are plugged into the green socket on the back of the pc.

the fuse is soldered in the circuit board in the sub. you have to take the sub apart and get the protective metal cover off the circuit board and un solder the old one. new fuses are found at radio shack they call for a 5a125v fuse.

Is the speaker system set up in Windows as a 5.1 speaker system? If so, the problem with the sound is the program used to play the audio. For example if you are watching a movie and the player used does not support 5.1 then it will not play the audio properly. If the sound works correctly playing a game in 5.1 you should be able to figure it out from there.

you will probably have to buy some 2 to 1 input plug adapters and set them up
i cant see your television so im not sure of its speaker set up
