Turn your BCM2074A2 off and then open flip on H730 and connect to it or repair if the light turns steady blue.

I fixed this problem by connect it on the charger,hold +and - keys together for 10 seconds,it started to charge and work well.

First thing to do is make sure Bluetooth is on for BOTH devices . Second thing is to make Both devices Visible. Third is to Scan for nearby devices. You will need to know the 'device name' of each phone. When you find the other phone on one device, click on it & it should ask you to 'Pair device'. You should then hear an 'alarm' tone & get a message in a box. (sometimes you need to 'pull-down' this message from the top of the screen, like you do to get the settings or wi-fi status). It will ask you if you want to pair & then give you a 'Pairing code'. This is what you type into the phone. The other phone will then get this & ask if you want to pair. Say yes & the two phones are paired ONE WAY. You need to repeat the process for the phones the other way around, so that the phones are paired in both directions. Remember, every time you get the 'alarm' tone, to check your 'pull-down' to see if the connection code is hidden up there.! Telling it to you is more complicated than actually doing it.!!! It only took 5 years to get an answer, but since this headset is still sold and one of the best Motorola bluetooth headsets ever due to the voice clarity, durability, and the convenience of the flip microphone, as well as the very long battery life, someone may still be interested.Some android phones will play music and other sounds through this headset, but most will not. However, there is an app in the playstore called "Mono Bluetooth Router" that will allow headsets without A2DP to stream music and other sounds.

Sometimes pairing is hard but your phone especially Bluetooth device to your phone cell phone to not recognize your Bluetooth device may not pay very well with some phones I recommend a universal Bluetooth earpiece has high capacity to go with any model carry your phone1 only get you one or two

I think I am having the same issue:When you open the H730 up do you hear beeping noise instead of a womens voice. Also does it stay on until you open it for a second time.
