LDAP lookup fails on Xerox WCP4150

I would check your software version. Several of the older versions had a lot of LDAP problems.
You can print out a system report and find your Firmware level, then go to Xerox.com, go to Drivers and Downloads and see what the new version. Current firmware level is 10.100.46.000 . follow the instructions.

We have a workcentre M15i connected to a vista computer. We want to print from a xp computer to the workcentre. The xp only sees the workcentre if the vista computer is turned on. How do we get the xp

We put a usb cable from the xp computer to the workcentre. We left the Vista computer connected to the workcentre via parallel cable. Not the solution we were hoping for but it does enable us to print from both computers

Driver for lexmark x1185 using mac os 10.5

He can simply plug it in to the computer (the Mac) and if it does not work immediately, then run software update. Software update should be ran WITH the printer plugged into the computer. It will then show an update called "Lexmark Printer Driver 1.1" and is about 71MB in size. After installing this update, the printer should work fine.

This was posted previously. M15i does not turn

in following order, either and most likely the Power supply is bad, That is located under the cover where the paper comes out, On the left side of the machine, where the on off switch is, there are 2 screws that hold the cover on, the power supply is there..A fuse on it may be bad, but that power supply fails due to heat.
Next is the main board failure, but that is less likely , about a 10 percent chance. The power supply print board crack from heat, and the filter capacitors also fail.

Display screen indicates "no paper" incorrectly

When you remove the paper tray, is there a black actuator flag hanging down in the paper path? that tells the machine the tray is in place. You can remove the tray by pulling it out, and lifting up and out on it and lift that actuator up and down . If the message does not clear you have to replace the sensor on the paper feed assembly, That is not an uncommon part to fail.
If you need a part, I would recommend you google "the parts drop" and give them a call for what you need.

I can not get my

If the lamp simply will not move then the green latch on the bottom of the scanner is locked and holding the scan head in the locked position.
If it is a scan to network issue or scan to E-mail you need to use a USB or parallell cable and you may have to change the USB port speed, But without knowing which problem you have I am not sure exactly where to head with this problem.
The scanner lock is located on the underside of the scanner. If you look in where you reach to remoce your copies, you will see on the bottom of the scanner a green latch, about 2 inches long and a half an inch wide. Push it in then pull it toward you until you feel it snap locked . Then power the machine off and back on.

Xerox WorkCentre M15i squeals when printing and copying.

Do not only lubricate metal shafts, but promptly lubricate the "pulleys" on the right and left side.  the will look very similar to a wheek and pulley mechanism.  The squeal happens when one "bar" connects two "wheels" and one side moves faster than the other.
