This is always a calibration or label template size issue.

• Make sure your software template size matches the size label in the printer.

Either your printer needs calibrated: Calibrate Zebra Desktop Printer Or your label template size( in the software) does not match the label size. I recommend the calibration then looking at the software label templates.

This could simply be old direct thermal labels. Direct thermal labels have a shelf life of about 1 year from the date of manufacture. After that time has lapsed the thermal coating on the labels begins to dissipate and this will cause labels to print light or faded. You can trouble shoot with a roll known to be fresh. Your software label template does not match the size label your printing on. Make sure your label size IE: 2.25" x 1.25" matches the template size in the software, then perform this calibration: TLP 2742 is printing blank labels

you need to do a sensor calibration.

After loading labels into the printer, place the power switch in the"0"(OFF) position.Press and hold the FEED control while placing the power switch in the"1"(ON) position.Release the FEED control when the printer starts feeding labels.The POWER indicator will turn off and then switch toGreen while the adjustment is being made.The printer will advance 3-4 labels while performing the adjustment. When the ad- justmen tis complete,a status summary label will be printed and the printer will be placed in Diagnostic Dumpmode.Tap the FEED Control once to switch theprinter back tonormal opera- tion. Are you sure that the page size is wrong, or are you just guessing because of the way that the label is printing? I would uninstall the driver - delete the printer from printers and faxes and remove the driver from Server Properties (in the file drop down in Printers and Faxes). Go to ups.zebra.com/ctp and get the latest driver - you have to have the UPS version of the driver in order to support pass-through printing. Go into your UPS Ship Asst application and make sure that the generic thermal is not checked.

The internal casing's probably warped. Push down on the Zebra logo until the light goes green.

By Keyboard / Display unit I'm assuming your using a PC, thin client or dumb terminal. If you are using a PC then the easiest way to do this is to get a bar-code scanner with a USB interface, no programming should be required with possibly the exception being of adding a "Enter" (CR LR) after each scan.

If you have a dumb terminal then you may need to look at trying to use an RS232 connection (if one exists) or a keyboard wedge solution where the scanner is plugged into the keyboard port along with the keyboard.

In any event pin outs would vary depending upon the scanner you want to use and the device you are connecting the scanner to.

Could be a problem with the printer driver. Try shutting down the printer and the computer. Then turning both back on. Sometimes printer drivers do weird things, If this does not work you may need to remove the printer driver completely and reinstall.

check the driver, and the setings from the driver. Try ZDesign Driver or seggul driver from WWW.seaguscientific.com, and print the testpage, chech the connection (port) if is seria (com) check the setings speed etc...

Use a Thermal Printer cleaning card. I get mine in with my labels. First turn power off on the Thermal Printer. Insert the card into the feeding path, press form feed or manually pull the cleaning card using both hands until the entire card has been pulled free.

possible the ribbon is on the outher way.
The darkness is to low.

check the driver if the length and the with are correct, print a test page, check if come the windows logo and the test from all label. check if the barcode is biguer that the label, if it is, is not appear.
2 solution is to reset printer to factory defult (press button until flash 4 times and relese the button.
