Roland Boss ME-25 Guitar Multiple Effects Pedal - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My boss me 25 pedal's
I have the Boss ME 50. Here's things to try. Use wall outlet to power the 25 instead of batteries. Have volume on amp up, volume on pedal all the way up, volume pedal all the way up(depressed), no gain on amp(use clean channel or clean setting if only 1 channel)effects on amp off(reverb, chorus, delay, boost, etc.) mid range knob below 5. only 1 pickup on, guitar tone knob all the way towards treble. If this puts you in the ballpark you can then make slight tweaks to any of these settings. What we're trying to do is not run a dirty sound from the pedal board into an amp with dirty settings. That double dirt often causes a muddy sound. Aside from that you can back off on various effects in the patches. My 50 has a list of the patches and factory settings, so if the drive, for example is set on 8, I might back it off to 4, or the compressor, or the delay, etc. If you like the sound save it. If not continue on. Start with the amp 1st. Higher output tubes(such as JJ's produce a cleaner sound. Also the demo you heard was not coming from your guitar speaker which may not be on the clean side.

Which is the master volume to boss me 25 ?
Hi, I can help you with your question. On the face of the effects, towards the right side, there are three settings that can be adjusted: DRIVE, TONE and VOLUME. The VOLUME knob is your master volume. The expression pedal can adjust volume, but it's output volume is controlled by the master VOLUME knob we just identified. I hope this has helped you, and if it has, could you please click on the "helpful" button ? Thank you!

When i plug it in, it dispays some hard to understand letters like
If it functions fine otherwise, it likely is simply digital noise. This can happen if the pedal is simply unplugged without powering down, or dirty contacts in a switch, marginal sontacts between the display and the circuit borad or an electrolytic capacitor is excessivley leaky on the main power buss.

Fix boss me-25
Is the power supply correct and power plug fully seated into the pedal? Are the other plugs the correct length and firmly seated?

Hi. Can I use the second pedal on my Roland BK5 to scale up the key one semitone at a time?
Yes, you can use the second pedal on a Roland BK-5 keyboard to transpose the key of the music that you are playing up or down by a semitone at a time. To do this, you will need to press and hold the second pedal while playing the keyboard. You can also use the transpose function in the settings menu of the BK-5 to adjust the key of the music that you are playing by a specific number of semitones.

I need a circuit diagram for a Roland MA-15D speaker please?
It's a Chinese made Roland and no service information is available as when a fault is found the main board is replaced, eliminating the need for service information.
I would check that it is a stereo out jack and not mono. If it is a stereo out, check that both input phonos work. If they do, replace the faulty socket or damaged pcboard.
