From your description the problem is the backlight going out in the monitor. Either the bulbs itself or the converter board. Both are worth about $35 and this can be a diy fix. Most people use this as an excuse to replace the monitor with something newer/bigger as the cost is not that much more and about the same if you have to pay labor to do it.

Hi Peter. Running MacKeeper is no guarantee of anything. If anything it's a blight on the Mac world.Restart the Mac and hold down the mouse click for about 10 seconds. The CD drawer should open. You may be lucky and your snowleopard may well start your Mac. If it does, after you get the what language page on the next page, instead of pressing continue, go up to the utility menu and select Disk Utiliy. Run Repair Disk from there and then try and start your Mac normally. If you get it running - ditch Mackeeper.
I dropped my mac lap top and the screen is a bit fuzzy, how can I fix it?

Apple Authorized Service ProviderYou don't want to keep turning on the Macbook until you have it checked because it could affect more than just the video graphics card.Regards,-The MacTechTrainer.
I have a Sanyo Xacti 10 MP that records with date and time but when I put the SD card in my Apple laptop and download the videos, the date and time seems to not stay on the videos.
The date and time information may not be embedded in the video file itself, but rather in the metadata of the file. When you transfer the video from your camera to your computer, the metadata may not be transferred along with the video.
To preserve the date and time information on your downloaded videos, you can try the following:
- Use a video player that displays metadata: Some media players, such as VLC media player, allow you to view the metadata of a video file. If the metadata contains the date and time information, you may be able to view it using such a player.
- Transfer the video using a program that preserves metadata: Some file transfer programs, such as Image Capture on Mac, will preserve metadata when transferring files. You may try using such a program to transfer your videos.
- Use a metadata editor to add date and time information: You can try using a metadata editor, such as ExifTool, to add the date and time information to your video files.
It's worth noting that not all video file formats support metadata, so depending on the format of your video files, it may not be possible to preserve the date and time information.

I have a new MacMini 2021 Monterrey O/S. I use Zoom but my Gear Head Webcam F#2 4.8mm is not on or is not connecting? IS it compatible with Apple Monterrey O/S?
It's possible that your Gear Head Webcam F#2 4.8mm is not compatible with the new MacMini 2021 running the Monterrey operating system (macOS Monterey).
The best way to check for compatibility is to visit Gear Head website and check for the compatibility list for the webcam with the MacMini 2021 running the Monterrey operating system. If the webcam is not on the list, it's possible that it may not be compatible with the new operating system.
If the webcam is not compatible with the new operating system, it may not be able to connect to the MacMini or be recognized by the Zoom app.
Alternatively, you can try connecting the webcam to the MacMini using a USB-C adapter and see if that resolves the issue.
You may also want to check if there is any new firmware update available for the webcam or the Zoom app that might resolve the issue.
If the issue still persists, it would be best to contact Gear Head customer support for further assistance and check if there is a way to make the webcam compatible with the new operating system or if there is any other solution that can be provided.
