If you open up the case and look at the rear of the keys, I expect you will see that there is a small spring connected to the rear of each key. i suspect the unit was dropped in transit and some of these springs have popped off. If so, just reattach them using a pair of needle nose pliers. If however it was dropped hard enough to break the fingers that the springs attach to you'll have to replace those keys. This may be a repair shop job. it may also not be cost effective to do the job. Good Luck!

There is a test mode : Hold down 0 1 2 whilst turning on Not sure however if there is a factory reset option in the test menu

This is likely a dirty contact thing... FIRST excersize them a bit to see if they come back.

Else you will have to clean them... If they are conductive rubber type, clean the board and the rubber contact pilss with 99% isoprophyl alcohol and Q tips.

You can't add songs to the LK-30 song bank. I suspect you would need to take apart the keyboard and replace the ROM (read-only memory) chip to get a different song collection. What model? Diodes are either burned up (but you would see the ends still present) or missing because they aren't applicable to that model. It's more likely the rubber pads under the keys need to be replaced

To rule out the power supply, or the related power supply circuitry - try it with batteries. If the problem goes away, you can try another 9v power supply with the same ma current (or higher) just make sure it is the correct polarity.

I assume you mean through its own speakers. (If you are running through an amp, make sure everything is powered from the same power point) If the hum is coming from the unit but not through the speakers, you have a more serious problem. If you are not using the supplied power adapter that could be the problem. If you are using the mic input, the mic lead could be the problem, or it might be passing close to the power adapter or some other hum source. try a different lead, and make sure the lead is well away from everything. Some other device might be too close. Try moving things around, or a new location.
