If you have software installed on your computer, you should be able to pull up your settings and password from there. If you know your IP address you can type it in to your browser and do it that way. That is the way I check and change my things for my router, but I have a linksys router. If that doesn't work try going to the NetGear website FAQ section. They should be able to give you an answer.
try to reboot your netgear router. if the same issue persist, try deleting the wireless networks saved to your computer and try to reconnect. Hope that works. regards

See if you can access the router settings with the default user and password, which is "admin" and "password". If you are still locked out, reboot the router. If still locked out, look on the bottom or back of the router for a very small hole to stick a paper clip end in,, to reset the router. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access
it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1
or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to
access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip
is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able
to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press
RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all
settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then
click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code

The default username is blank (no characters)
and the defult password is zebraonce in the router configuration go to security and change the WEP password, or better change it to WPA and make a password. have you tried clearing the cache and cookie in the settings part of your xbox? after doing that if it still doesnt work try remove any memory sticks, memory card or hard drive. it should work by now
